Rare archival 2005 Mandalay Jade “Serpent” embellished top, style #U01168TEB.
Mandalay has directly confirmed this piece as the top version of their iconic Jade “Serpent” dress, famously worn by Sharon Stone at the 2004 Catwoman premiere in Los Angeles. According to Mandalay, this separate top version was released the following year in 2005.
Stunning jade green satin-effect construction with purple and green floral/paisley embroidery, intricate bead and crystal embellishment, plunging neckline, ruched satin bands through the waist and adjustable spaghetti straps.
An exceptionally rare early-2000s Mandalay piece with direct archival provenance from the brand.
