lynnk4@hollyc777 Hi Holly! I am also on merc, hope to find you there! I love Posh too!

Jan 21Reply

hollyc777@lynnk4 I like Merc because they don't take 20% but I really like posh Mark to because they have a lot of really good networking and you can repost you things like every day so the new people can see them. If you decide you want to buy something on my page email me to talk about prices. My email is Hollym777@gmail.com I would be happy to work with you if there is a couple of things that you want

Jan 21Reply

vicky_ymcagirlHi Holly! I'm Vicky. Your beautiful daughter sent me over! ☺️ You have so many great items in your closet! 💕 To be recommended to posh parties and to be eligible for host picks your closet has to be 💯% posh compliant ( PC ). But if one of your items is picked, it is shown to 1000s of women! and the big sharers only share from PC closets = increased exposure = increased sales! 💁 If you want I can send you some closets that can help you get PC 👍🏻 if not, that's okay too! 👌🏻

Jan 29Reply

southerngal0724Hi Holly! I discovered a closet that is incredible with great items at rock bottom prices. It's shadsgems. I like your closet better, but I thought you might want to see this one. Also, your daughter is beyond beautiful! You must be so proud of her!

Feb 15Reply

southerngal0724@hollyc777 Hey girlfriend! I was wondering how you're holding up by now. I noticed some things that I just love in your closet that look new to me. I'm getting exhausted from answering all these "follows", "shares"! Don't get me wrong, I love it, but it's exhausting! I was on some list last night and answered about 250 "follows" . My wrist is still aching from that...... Just wanted to wish you a good night.

Feb 20Reply

hollyc777@southerngal0724 still haven't slept, busy day and have prob 2 hours of follows, shares and likes to answer!! Yikes!! Posting new things on other site now. Plus have 6 pkgs to get ready to get to post office tomorrow. Hopefully can get there before they close. Got lots of private jewel pics for u but haven't had chance to send yet. Sold a couple smaller but beautiful pieces today to jewelry store. Needed immediate funds. I'll show u those too privately. How's it going posting? Any new listings?

Feb 20Reply

southerngal0724@hollyc777 Hi there, and I hope you haven't gone to bed yet because I placed an offer on a watch, and the pictures weren't clear, and once I reviewed them I realized the watche wasn't what I thought at all. I read that I can cancel with the offer button in my newsfeed, but I can't find it. Help! I don't want this ugly watch!!

Feb 26Reply

hollyc777@southerngal0724 sorry!!! I was asleep! Did you get it figured out?

Feb 26Reply

tanyasuez@hollyc777, hey girl, I checked out your daughters closet. The both of you are just the cutest!! Let me know how the pants work out!

Feb 26Reply

southerngal0724@hollyc777 I'm so glad that you were sleeping, and yes I did figure it out. Oh, that watch was so bad, and after I placed an offer and looked at another picture, I couldn't wait to get my offer off the table!! I was just too tired, and wanted to purchase something. I'm going to look today when I'm a little more refreshed. Thanks so much for following back, tho.

Feb 26Reply

hollyc777@southerngal0724 you have to tell me where it was so I can look! I posted a NWT Betsey Watch yesterday & a pretty Chico's watch the other day! Not sure what you are looking for tho! BTW, if you are posting on a listing that is mine, you don't have to tag me. If you are posting on your listing or someone else's then you do have to tag me! Just thought I'd save you some typing!

Feb 26Reply

hollyc777@southerngal0724 so busy yesterday I did not even get through my notifications! Was trying to do that when I fell asleep! I hate it when that happens because I always like to share and follow back! 😁

Feb 26Reply

hollyc777@tanyasuez aww thanks girl!! Can't wait to get them too!!

Feb 26Reply

auntneciaWow closet!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Feb 27Reply

tanyasuezHey Holly, o am glad you still have the Green Bini, I am figuring out finances and then I will get it. Do not hold it and miss a sale though! You seem to have a lot of great stuff, so I have no worries. I was wondering if you would give me some pointers on how to sell more and quicker? You and your cute daughter seem to have a handle on it!!

Feb 28Reply

hollyc777@tanyasuez good morning! I don't know if I have the answer to your question except to tell you what I do & it seems to be working for me. I list new items almost every day, I share my listings every day to the parties or just randomly through the day. I share other people's items a lot to, which most in turn will share back. I try to stay involved with other posters. I'm on the Fb group Poshmark Users Group.

Feb 28Reply

hollyc777@tanyasuez I put in like 14 hours a day doing something with Posh because for now it's my full time job & my way to survive! I try to get through all of my notifications every day to follow & share back. I feel guilty on the days I don't get through them!! Like this weekend but I was just SO busy photographing & listing!! Hope this helps, it's all I've got! 😃

Feb 28Reply

tanyasuezOh okay, well I am doing all of that except for the social media. I do have Pinterest, so I should be choosing that option! Duh! I am appreciative of your direction, you have been so kind!! Would you mind if I ask you to take a pick with the VS pants? Would it be alright if I post it and thank you for being my first sale and tell people to check ur closet out cuz you rule! If not, I would completely understand. I am just thankful for the kindness

Feb 28Reply

hollyc777@tanyasuez sure I will!! I didn't know I was your first sale!! When did you set up your closet? I started mine Jan 5, first sale was Jan 10th. Some nights I didn't even go to bed cause I was obsessed with getting things listed!!

Feb 28Reply

tanyasuezThank you, you are very kind.

Feb 28Reply

tanyasuezOmg! Tell me about it!! I started a week or so before you bought. You have just been so great, I figured if I featured you then I could do you a favor back. You popped my cherry! Hahaha, sorry... Too far

Feb 28Reply

tanyasuezI just tend to hang onto things, I hardly ever get rid of clothes😳, when I took over half of my husbands closet cuz mine was overstuffed I finally admitted to having an issue!! I have some stuff in my closet that I'm sure is hard to find now

Feb 28Reply

tanyasuezI like putting items on that gold mirror, I think it make it catch their eye. And yes NWT is always good!

Feb 28Reply

hollyc777@tanyasuez LMAO on the cherry comment! Nothing is ever too far with me believe me you cannot offend me! Besides going through your own things a lot of people do thrift shops, garage sales, consignments, find the deals where you can on really good stuff and resell! Figure out the brands that sell for you! I'm still working on that part! My two best brands are VS and Betsey Johnson!

Feb 28Reply

hollyc777@tanyasuez ok I have to get off here for a while. There is an estate sale down the street I want to go check out!

Feb 28Reply

tanyasuezI've got to get off here and get ready for work! He he. Message me when you get up and around I noticed you liked the VS pj pants and the navy pier sweatshirt. I would do both for the purse.

Mar 01Reply

tanyasuezI see you still didn't get your pants. Wth... It says they arrived on Tampa on the 28th!!

Mar 01Reply

hollyc777@tanyasuez good morning! Just waking up. Don't know what's up with pants but no worries, it will get here, not your fault!! Yes I'll do the trade. Text me your address & I'll text u mine, oh wait u already have mine lol. Ok u can text me at 941-894-7016 or email Hollym777@gmail.com

Mar 01Reply

southerngal0724@hollyc777 Hi there! I have a question about shipping costs -- I know that the price is $5.95 but I've seen some people that they did something or purchased a lower amount to get reduced shipping. Do you know what that's about? Thanks. and BTW your new bling caps rock!!

Mar 01Reply

hollyc777@southerngal0724 sometimes when you drop the price of an item they will give you discounted shipping for one hour.

Mar 01Reply

chula1gHi holly I was able to remove pink spot on chico pants with alcohol. I truly wanted these pants so I looked on website on how to remove nail polish from clothing. Thank you so much chulag

katzkozWELCOME TO POSH!! Glad you're here! Posh is a very supportive & social community, so if U have any questions, there's always a Posher to ask! Or, visit my closet and I'd be happy to help you too. SHARING is KEY! When you "share" an item to your "followers", it goes into the " feed" for everyone to see. The more followers U have, the more the item is seen. So...if U have a lot of followers the more potential sales you'll have! Questions? Just ask!

Mar 05Reply

hollyc777@katzkoz thank you for the kind words! I've been on a couple months now, made this my full time job, and have been doing very well! My daughter megankayx3 has been on here a long time and gave me the crash course! I joined Poshmark User Group on Fb too which has been helpful. I do share a lot! I will check out your closet!!

I'm not sure what I missed from you; it must have gotten lost in all the other myriad of things I've gotten. I'll look for it. Hope you have a great day!!

Apr 15Reply

southerngal0724@hollyc777 Well, if you're busy listing then, I'll share your bags to the party. I have to tell you that I love your smile -- it's just so joyful. I wish I still lived in Naples so I could come harass you. My step-daughter is there, and she's 5 months pregnant. I'd love to see her, and then I could come your way. Do you enjoy doing this versus your old job?

Apr 15Reply

southerngal0724@hollyc777 It's seems like you've taken to this like a duck in water, just swimming and selling away. I'm glad for you. I'm just starting to really get into it. I have new pain meds, and will start going to a gym for swimming, the spa tub, and some gentle pilates. I'm determined to get healthier so that I can get my closet to what I want it to be. Good night, and happy selling and listing!

donnastreasuresHi, I'm Donna. Welcome to Poshmark! Two helpful tips: follow your fellow Poshers & share their items. They'll return the favor. Your goal is to get as many people as possible to see your closet. Make your cover shots as clean & bright as possible so everyone can see your beautiful items. If you're interested, I belong to a Facebook group of other sellers. http:// theposhsociety.zohosites.com/mobile/ Let them know I sent you! Don't hesitate to contact me if I can help you in any way!💖

Apr 20Reply

nancytyraYour daughter is the one who blocked me, because I told her, Chico's has wonderful sales. I just ordered a jacket that was over $100, for $19. I shop all their sales. I was not rude to her, but it is so frustrating, seeing things from Chico's priced so high. One girl has a skirt priced very high, while at the same time, Chico's is selling it for $29.99. Checking the price before posting, would help. Thank you for responding on behalf of your daughter.

Apr 22Reply

hollyc777@nancytyra I don't know anything about her blocking u, however, if something from Chico's is priced high here, it could be because they paid full price before it was on sale or many people shop sales then post stuff here in order to make money. Posh is great but it's also a business for many of us. I can't sell things for 5$ and pay my bills. Megan sells 95% of her things very cheap & will have a few higher priced items thrown in.

Apr 22Reply

hollyc777@nancytyra it's also hard to check prices on every item u post if you have a lot too. If it's a brand I don't know, i do look it up to see what their retail is on things, so I know how to price something. I've taken a couple hits on things that I bought specifically for Posh, thinking they would sell, and ended up losing money too. I'm sorry she got offended. She's a struggling college student getting ready to graduate. The girl has so much on her plate, i don't know how she does it.

Apr 22Reply

hollyc777@donnastreasures thank u Donna!! My daughter has been on Posh quite a while so I got a crash course the first couple weeks & bombarded her with questions! I feel like I've been on here forever & even help new people too!! I'm working on my cover shots & even going back to some I did in the beginning & fixing them. I follow & share a ton!! Trying to make this a success! 😃

Apr 22Reply

donnastreasures@hollyc777 Sounds like your on the right track!

Apr 22Reply

nancytyraI completely understand, and wish there was some way to privately talk with sellers. I just hate she got so upset. I certainly wasn't trying to take advantage of her. I wish her all the luck in the world with her schools, and her future.

Apr 22Reply

hollyc777@nancytyra I do wish there was a private way to talk as well. There is a FB group some of us are on, they ask questions, get feedback, give ideas, and vent frustrations lol. There is a listing in my closet about it, in case you aren't a member yet.

Apr 30Reply

hollyc777@deforrest5 thank you so much for all of the shares & the posh love!!! Posh is running a reduced shipping special thru tonight so if you want to make a bundle or purchase anything, let me know & I can drop the price a little to get you the discounted shipping! 😃

Apr 30Reply

mynahshineI would love nothing more than to go on a spree in your closet! However I'm on a self imposed buying freeze. I've had way too much fun at the local Chanel boutiques lately! I live 10 minutes away from 2! After college tuition and my Chanel adventures I think I should give the hubby a chance to adjust! Lol He never said a word either he is so sweet. I did pay cash so the cards are still clear! I'll be back you can count on that!

Apr 30Reply

hollyc777@deforrest5 I hear ya! I'm on a spending freeze too! My daughter graduates from college in 3 weeks so I'll be traveling to Illinois (I'm in FL), having a party for her, plus have my regular bills, & money going out to fix my younger daughters car that she wrecked. It's hard not to buy everything I love on here! Lol!!

southerngal0724Hey, girl! Just wanted to thank you for all the shares! I love any opportunity to come into your closet, snoop, and of course share! Your closet is just like a little boutique, and the amount of quality products you offer is incredible!! If I don't chat with you, please have a truly wonderful and safe 4th of July! I'll be at the nursing home visiting with my dear mama.

posh_sidThanks for the like on the dr. Martens :) I do 15% off bundles and I'm open to offers! I can also sell for less on mmercari, which is just like posh but you get to keep the whole profit so that's why I can sell for less. If you're interested, use code EMUEXT when making a profile and you'll get $$ off your first purchase:) let me know if you have any questions!

Jul 06Reply

hollyc777@sidneyhirsch I sell on Merc too so I'm familiar with it! These are really cute! I'm going to show my daughter, they might be to girly for her, but I wear a 10 too so I might want them for myself! I'll have to see what's left over after i pay bills this week!

southerngal0724Thanks so much for sharing my jewelry to the best of Jewelry party! I was not home or I would have shared yours, too! I hope you're feeling okay today...... this humidity just about kills my joints, but you just have to keep moving, right?! How's your daughter doing? Has she been able to enjoy Aunt Necia's gift of the pool this summer? I'll chat with you later -- duty calls😘

Oct 29Reply

doglover8@hollyc777 I read some of your comments and could not agree with you more!!! Sending you posh love and support your view!! The other comments flat out scare me too! 💕👩🇺🇸

Nov 04Reply

hollyc777@doglover8 Thank you for your kind words. Honestly I'm trying to keep it to myself here but sometimes when I see comments just made out of ignorance, I just can't help myself! I don't choose my friends based on political views, if we disagree, we agree to disagree & move on. Thanks for the support. They keep trying to bait me back in the conversation but I'm ignoring it. When they go low, we go high!

Nov 04Reply

doglover8Absolutely agree with you there @hollyc777! 😃👏

Nov 04Reply

hollyc777@serendipitychic Thank you! I just can't imagine that racist pig Trump being president. No thank you! Trying to stay off politics here but sometimes I can't help it!

Nov 07Reply

68ladyLovely closet! I saw your comments on a closet about a political t shirt and wanted to let you know I appreciated them. I thought we were selling clothes!

Nov 07Reply

doglover8@hollyc777 Speechless 😶 there just are no words.......share on Posh 💕

Nov 09Reply

hollyc777@doglover8 Me too Susie. I am beyond upset. The thing is she WON the popular vote, but he won the high electoral vote states by a hair so even tho more Americans voted for her, he is our president. It's not right.

Nov 09Reply

doglover8Oh @hollyc777 I am mortified at what just happened! If you try to tell people they were just manipulated, they wouldn't believe you anyway! Many more choice words but trying so hard to restrain myself! Such ignorance and what a total misogynistic dope, astonishing! 😤

kristigrrGlad to see u are doing good again! Maybe i should close and reorganize and start with all new people. Fresh start. Maybe i can get rid of all these things that i spent to much at the stores sale to be able to compete and sell them on here without going bankrupt!! Lol it seems to me that all anybody wants to do is trade. Then i see it's a lot younger girls that as one gal put it "get rid of my old stuff and get brand new stuff to replace it!" Ugg

gothess@hollyc777 Thanks for the shares Holly!! Aren't you Gorgeous, those dimples though!!! What a beautiful family too! Ps.. I am in Florida also (Fleming Island)

Jul 17Reply

hollyc777@gothess awww thank you for the compliment! Where is Fleming Island? I'm not familiar with it! I've been in Sarasota almost 5 1/2 years. Born & raised in Central Illinois! Is Florida your original home?

Jul 17Reply

gothess@hollyc777 Fleming Island is a tiny suburb between Jacksonville & St Augustine. We are originally from NJ, born & raised there also, but we have been in Florida for almost 30yrs now.

Jul 17Reply

gothess@hollyc777 My husband spent 20 years in the Navy which is what brought us down here. He actually spent his entire career in Jacksonville, which was a blessing & a curse, our kids got to grow up without changing schools every 4-6yrs. But when he proposed, he said "Marry me, we'll see the world". I have seen FLORIDA.. HE has been around the world TWICE! haha

Jul 17Reply

fbbbmomThank you for the shares.😊💕😊 You have a beautiful closet💝💝💝

Aug 23Reply

butoraHi, I saw you commented on a Nintendo NES. I have a brand new one, I'm asking $160. Let me know if you're interested, that way I can create a listing

Aug 25Reply

hollyc777@gmartinez1180 yes I would be interested. I won't have the money til next week. I'm just waiting on some checks to come, which will be here anytime, usually get about the 28th. I would like to get this for my son's 30th bday. It's the only thing I can think of he would really like!

Aug 25Reply

butora@hollyc777 let me know when you're ready to purchase, that way I can create the listing. It would be a great gift, I'm in my early 30's and I love mine

Aug 25Reply

hollyc777@gmartinez1180 will do! This one is new in the box right? Did u purchase extra accessories for yours like a wireless controller or controllers with longer cords? I saw those on Amazon & people were saying the cord is a bit short it comes with & recommend the longer one or wireless one. What's your opinion?

Aug 26Reply

butora@hollyc777 yes the one I'm selling is new in box. I didn't purchase anything extra, the cord is a bit short, but It doesn't bother me. I did see the one on amazon, target also had it

Jan 18Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Hi Holly, I am Patti Patterson and I live here in Sarasota too. Not sure how many of us Poshers are here. It I would love to meet everyone. Has anyone tried to put together a Posh and Sip in SRQ? Patti Patterson, PalmAire area

Jan 22Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 hi Patti! There are quite a few, if you search by city! At one point, I started to make a list to see if anyone would be interested in a get together, even an informal one but then I just got busy with other stuff! I’ve been s little slack on Posh lately, just a lot going on but hopefully things will calm down soon! I live close to you, off Lockwood Ridge just south of Honore in Woodbrook!!

Jan 22Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 We are off Whitfield. Neighbors! How could a Sip & Chat be organized? I am very new and not experienced seller at all even though a Posh Ambassador. So much I DON’t know. I am in awe of anyone with hundreds of listings in their Closet. I feel like I am on my iPad a couple of hours a day welcoming new Poshers and sharing Shares. I get frustrated with all the Likes that never produce. Any wisdom on that one? Patti

Jan 23Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 Do you work outside the home? I don’t, but I’m pretty tied up this week but maybe we could meet next week for lunch and talk about all of this! Let me know & I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have & in the meantime, I can check & see what a Posh & Sip entails! Thanks!!

Jan 23Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 No, we are both retired, but with most of our grands here in SRQ and nearby. I play golf twice a week & attend a lot of soccer games. I would love to meet you for lunch somewhere more along U. Pkwy and Lockwood Ridge than SR 70. Next week, Monday or Friday works. Patti

Jan 23Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Hope your week has gone better. How is Friday, Feb 2, to meet somewhere nearby and have lunch or brunch? Patti

Jan 25Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 Friday would be great! I’m not much of a morning person so after noon would be best for me! Let me know where & what time & I will put it on my calendar! Look forward to meeting you! Thanks!! 😃😃

Jan 26Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 How is Friday, Feb 1, at 1:00 pm at Panera Bread at corner of U Pkwy and Tuttle in the Publix shopping center. My cell is 941-724-3863. Patti

Jan 29Reply

hollyc777@patriciabonham1 Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!! My son & I will be taking him. I know my son is going to have a really hard time. He originally adopted Gordy with his x wife. When they separated, a year and a half ago, my son & Gordy moved in with me & I’ve been Gordys primary caregiver ever since. I’m home most of the time & my son works a lot. We both love him very much.

Jan 29Reply

highlandroadHi Holly! Love your closet! When I saw your PM buddy was in IN I had to check her out, Imas I am too💕 her town is town that borders mine, lol how amazing! Best of luck💜

Jan 30Reply

hollyc777@highlandroad aww Thank you! Tanya is a great gal & we have become very close friends! You should drop her a line too, if you haven’t already! I have so much to still add to my closet! I’m trying to clear out my older listings! My daughter is getting married soon so I’ve been really busy with that & neglecting Posh a bit! I need more hours in my day! Ha!

Jan 30Reply

highlandroad@hollyc777 Isn't it amazing how you can make friends in this setting but it happens! I added and posted a note to Tanya! I have TONS of items to list,we're thinning out to sell our house, moving 650 mi south, later this year. Woot! Oh,and those weddings are fun work, worth every precious minute💕

Jan 30Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Hey Holly, I have a situation I don’t know how to handle. A lady who has bought from me before, bundled two items late last nite, I made Bundle off er, she declined saying she wanted to add one more item this am. I just got notice that she added third item & purchased the Bundle for the price I offered for two item Bundle. How did that happen. I would be giving the listings away. One is a NWT Lilly Pulitzer dress. How can she do that? Patti

Feb 07Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Have spent better part of the afternoon walking a friend and her husband through Poshmark. He finally threw his hands up and said she does not even have an email acct so all would come to him. He did not want her to do Posh. So funny. She kept saying yes, he kept saying no! He may win out!

Feb 16Reply

hollyc777@vtorres0926 Thank you! You have some great things too that I had to share!! 😃❤️

Feb 17Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 Wow!! Well, I think if she wants to do it, she should get her own email & understand that checking it frequently will be part of her Posh responsibilities! That’s the easy part! Lol!!

Feb 17Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 She just wants something to do when they are home in Missouri and not in Florida. She used to have a booth in an antique mall but gave it up. Now itching to “do something!” He kept saying he was retiring in April & wanted her to spend more time with him. It was a funny afternoon!

Feb 17Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Wowzers! Thank you for all the Shares. Been a remarkable day - five single listings sold, two of them unicorns! Isn’t the wedding getting close? Hope your Closet is booming! Patti

Sep 17Reply

hollyc777@sassysaintsgal I know how time consuming that is, believe me!! I have so much to add, always! When I first started, there were times I would work 48 hours straight with NO sleep, just trying to build my closet! I’ve learned a lot since then but now it takes me even longer since I’m more detailed now! Best of luck to you!

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Holly, are you going to the Posh Live Party on Thursday in Tampa? If so, would love to ride with you and cover cost of gas. Let me know. Patti

Nov 06Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 Honestly, I haven’t decided! I want to go but for a few reasons, I haven’t committed. One is health, I never know day to day, how I’ll feel, secondly, my husband is on nights right now & I hate to leave Fred (our Basset pup) home that long alone. Are you going to go either way? I hate to miss the opportunity, so I’m probably going to have to just decide Thursday. Sorry that’s not much help! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Nov 06Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 I have a haircut appt at 1:00 & prob finished at 4, thought about leaving after that and grab a bite to eat at the hotel before 6 pm. Somehow I missed making an appt for a Closet Consultation 😒. I hate to go up by myself so hope you will come. Sorry you are having health issues. Let me know. Patti

southerngal0724Holly, I have a question for you - how would a sale get canceled so the buyer can afford to purchase a few pieces in the bundle, but not the whole thing? Is that something I would do, or does she cancel at her end? As usual, thank you so very much for all of your help. You're truly a godsend to me!!!

Nov 23Reply

hollyc777@southerngal0724 I know for sure that you can cancel her order, I’m not sure if she can, but then you will have to relist the items that she wants. It’s kind of a pain but 🤷🏼‍♀️! I would just make one listing for her with the items that she wants after you cancel the other order. I hope that helps!

Nov 23Reply

southerngal0724Thanks so much for your ongoing helpfulness to me, I truly appreciate it! Sometimes things pop up that I just don't know because I haven't been exposed to them before. Love your closet and enjoy sharing your gorgeous items!! Thanks again, and God Bless!!!❤✨❤

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Holly, I have a question for you. I sold a Disney crossbody last weekend. Tonite there is a comment under the Sold Disney bag to the Posher who bought it from another Posher who was regretful that my buyer did not buy her J Crew bag. I messaged her to complain about her rudeness to use my Closet to comment to a Posher who did not buy from her. Then I reported it as offensive to PM. Have you ever had this happen?

Dec 14Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 No, I haven’t & you are right, it’s rude. I looked at your listing & see they removed her comment. If she wanted to reach out to the buyer, she should’ve done it on her listing or the buyers listing. Sounds like she understands that now! Makes you wonder what people are thinking!! I’ve been meaning to get a hold of you, would like to know what you learned at the Tampa event! 😃

Dec 14Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Tampa was great. Met great new Posher who lives off Honore, Lilli Powers @poshpowers. Had a Closet Consult - very informative. Share Closet 3 times/day, join Instagram, use square pictures in listings, and list new items daily. There was a panel on three diff Poshers. Two have warehouse space and use models. I never want to be that big! Thanks for advice about the rude seller. Have been sharing & did not see PM removed her comment. Hope you are feeling better! Patti

Dec 14Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 I just left a comment for Lilli, introducing myself! Did they say anything about the algorithm Posh uses? Like to my older items get seen as much as my newer stuff if I’m doing edit, next, list to share?? I’ve always used the square mode on my phone to take pics! My daughter taught me that on day 1! Huge difference when editing!! I’m trying to add listings every day! Did 3 this morning! Need to take more pics today, have a busy day tho!

Dec 14Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 I bragged to Lilli about your helping me! I left the Posh event about 8:30 - did. Or want to be on road late. They were going strong when I left. I did not hear anything about algorithms changing but may have missed. Ask on FB. I have been knee deep in getting ready for Christmas and have not listed anything for a week. I would do some today but have no light kit. Have not sourced in several wks - selling my stuff & purchases from Fall.

Dec 14Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 We aren’t really doing Christmas this year. I’ll cook on Christmas Eve but no presents & didn’t put up a tree (was afraid puppy would eat the ornaments!). I just have to much on my plate financially this year. I’ve always done a huge Christmas so this is weird. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m working on going through my own stuff to list too! Haven’t sourced lately.

Dec 14Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 You have had alot including a wedding! And when you don’t feel well on top of that, I can identify. My personal closet is too full...no way am I ever going to wear some things again!

Dec 14Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 Yes, a wedding, a baby shower that included a trip to Illinois, that’s what got me so behind! Now she’s due in 6 weeks!! No idea how I’m getting there for that! My first grandbaby!

Dec 14Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Praying for you.

Jan 25Reply

presley523Thank you for sharing from my closet. I really appreciate your help in getting started.

Jan 27Reply

hollyc777@presley523 You are more than welcome! Did you just start selling? I’m always happy to help other sellers! If you have any questions at all, please let me know! 😃😃

Jan 27Reply

notjustklothesThank you for the tip. I always thought you had to have approval to use that.

Feb 08Reply

hollyc777@notjustklothes no, they want you to use it, if it applies. The “boutique” option of NWT is to be used if you purchased something wholesale & it’s not being sold in retail stores. Some people use it other times but that’s what it is supposed to be! I had one other thing I think will help you too & that is to be more descriptive in title. Use words people search, like the brand name & say if it’s jeans, use keywords like bootcut, straight leg, skinny, etc

Feb 08Reply

hollyc777@notjustklothes Avoid adjectives like pretty, gorgeous, etc. Most people are searching for specific things so you definitely want to use those words they will be searching.

Feb 08Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 Holly, I have a marketing question for you. Do you ‘work’ your expired Offers. I am getting lot’s of Likes, make offers an nothing happens. Suggestions?

Feb 25Reply

hollyc777@pittypatsporch1 same thing happens to me! I don’t really have an answer. The only thing I can tell you is my own perspective as a buyer...I like a lot of things too, some are things that I would love to buy, if I had the money. I’ll like them in order to watch the price, see if maybe an offer comes along that’s just to good to pass up & I can afford. Sometimes I like things because I think their layout is awesome & I want to remember it for ideas.

Feb 26Reply

pittypatsporch1@hollyc777 I do same thing. It just seems like a waste for all those expired offers to just sit there 😢

Sure was hard to leave her! I searched through all my comments & can’t find the comment that you are referring to about a bag. Which bag were you interested in?

mtwayland14Holly, Thanks for reaching out! My husband and I will celebrate our two-year anniversary in January and don’t have any kids, yet. We are kind of “practicing” with our puppy, Macho, but having a lot of fun in the meantime. You have a great closet and I wish you all the best on Poshmark! Kind regards, Meagan O’

Jun 25Reply

gershoony5You are an adorable posher!

Oct 17Reply

gershoony5Holly how did you start doing posh? I am the Woman buying the leopard sweater and tank top. I am disabled and would love to earn money from home. How do you do/start what you’re doing?

Oct 17Reply

hollyc777@gershoony5 Thank you for the compliment! I have been Poshing since mid January 2016. My daughter was selling on here (she lives in Illinois, I’m in Florida), & she taught me SO much! I have also learned an encyclopedia full of info from other poshers & from trial & error! I’ve actually thought about writing a guide! When I send you your sweater, I will enclose my business card, which has my phone number & email on it. It would be easier to answer your questions that way! 😃😃

Oct 17Reply

hollyc777@gershoony5 If you do email tho, always drop me a comment here to check my email because I haven’t been checking it much lately! I get so much junk! I need to get my mailbox cleaned out! I’m happy to answer all your questions tho! You can always text me too! It’s the easiest & fastest way to reach me!

Oct 17Reply

hollyc777@gershoony5 I see that you received your sweater & tank today! 😃 I put 2 business cards in your thank you card so you would have an extra one, in case you lost one or wanted to pass one on to a friend who might be interested in Posh too! I’m always happy to help new people get started selling or even just answering questions for new buyers to the site. Hope all is well!

1terreaI see your case against me was resolved, but what happens to the phone case? Will it be returned?

Apr 11Reply

hollyc777@1terrea Let me check my email real quick! I haven’t checked it today so this is the first I am hearing about it. I do totally understand that mistakes happen btw! I have had just a couple cases on over 1,000 sales, & they were innocent mistakes too! I don’t hold it against you at all! You have a lot of things I like!

Apr 12Reply

1terreaWell thank you and I’m so sorry this happened because I definitely wouldn’t have listed it if I’d noticed.

Apr 12Reply

hollyc777@1terrea Ok I did have an email & it said that they refunded me, let you keep your earnings & that I can keep the case or do with it what I please. If you want to go into bundle feature & leave me your email, I can forward the email to you, if you would like. I know when they want the item returned, they send a return label too. Did they ask you if you wanted it returned? I thought they usually asked seller, but maybe they don’t, if everyone keeps their funds, I can’t remember.

Apr 12Reply

1terreaNo they didn’t ask me about a return

Apr 12Reply

heidz_closetHi! I’m closing down my closet, the hustle is just too much 😢 I know you liked a lot of my leggings, I am advertising 40% off but because you shopped with me before I will give you 50% off. Just bundle and shoot me an offer 😃 if there are specific leggings you are looking for (color or design) let me know, as I told you before I have soooo many that are not listed!! I may have what you’d looking for lol!

Jul 14Reply

hollyc777@heidz_closet I hate to hear that you are closing down your closet! It’s the best!! I don’t have any disposable money right now, but there are a few things I’d really like! When do you plan to close down? Hopefully, you will be open til i can come up with some $ to spend!!

Jul 14Reply

heidz_closet@hollyc777 I’m actively promoting it right now to clear out inventory, I would say I’m going to give it 2 weeks and be done. My husband is upset with all the stuff laying around, and we don’t have the space for me to try to “organize” it into bins. The whole point was to get rid of stuff, but it went from my closet to a box on the floor...that doesn’t work for him. What I don’t sell in the next couple of weeks will either go back into my closet, to donation or to ThredUP

Jul 14Reply
