houndstooth @icharb Hello and belated Happy Hanukkah! Things have been crazy and not slowing down anytime soon. I went out of town the week before Thanksgiving, then had a houseful of company for the Iron Bowl. I had only been back on Posh for 2 days when my precious grandson became very ill and was hospitalized for a severe case of RSV. He was in ICU for 6 days and required a feeding tube and oxygen 24/7. It was terrifying! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

houndstooth (Continued) He was finally moved to a regular hospital room for another 2 days and was finally discharged a few days ago. I got back to Tuscaloosa yesterday. I’m leaving again to go back to Baton Rouge on Thursday. I made plans about 2 months ago with youngest son to meet there with his girlfriend. Will be back next Sunday, then leave for Houston on Wednesday for medical tests. Praying for a CANCER FREE diagnosis during that trip! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

My thanksgiving was my 50th bday and hip surgery seven weeks ago..going to PT and working taking each day as it comes I am getting better day by day. Hoping to be able to get back to regular exercise routine soon. Will be keeping you in my thoughts for your tests to come out clear and wishing you a “refuah shelema” happy last day of Chanukah 🕎 time flies. 💚💚 Elyssa

blreibman1948 Moved to Europe for a year ( saved tons on money living there no place to shop!!!)after Monroe them came back lived in Washington land then bought a house in New Paltz. In 1981 moved to Fort Lauderdale. Still here love Florida super easy living in warm weather and no winter clothes. Love upstate New York still has my heart just not my body🌷

I was just in minnewaska today mountain biking it was picture perfect weather we have been waiting for a long time for the warmer weather 😀 my sister in law lives in Ormond Beach it is nice but the idea of leaving NY not sure if I could! I am a New Yorker through and through 😀

blreibman1948 Yeah me too I’m most comfortable in the mountains but everyday I open my wooden blinds in every room and the sun shines in. It’s an uplifting feeling. Like a great autumn day in New York when it’s perfect. I sort of feel like that every day. I loved Monroe. It was my first experience out of NYC and it was amazing.!!!! Harriman state park my favorite place up there and the storm king Art Gallery. If you haven’t been .....GO!

blreibman1948 I worked at Mohank mountain house. I gave tours way back when. The cast from SNL came and I gave them a tour. Bill Murray Gilda Radner, John Belushi do you remember them!! I was in Monroe when it was fantastic in the ‘70s!!!

glennlowney @icharb Yes. Poshmark is pretty quiet. People are liking my listings and that’s it. They never respond. I share my listings to parties with little feedback. Poshmark is almost dead, but I keep trying.

blreibman1948 Yes, very slow. People are worried about essentials food, electric bills etc. Very scary times. They say if we become a masked society like China and Japan we can resume work. I’m a teacher. I’m very worried about schooling and children. They are touchers and huggers. It’s very scary. I sold some things I lowered prices so low on certain things. I guess we just deal with it for now and try to stay healthy.🌼🌺🌷

icharb @blreibman1948 well I can't say I'm happy to hear that but at least it makes me feel better that I'm not alone luckily I have other things that I work on so this is just a side hustle I am hoping we can get back to some sense of normalcy soon but staying healthy is the most important today the CDC increase their space guidelines it's more than 6 feet now I wish people would be patient and understand what's really happening but we can only do the best we can 🥰

blreibman1948 Yeah it’s really bad that people defiantly won’t wear masks and carry guns to the capital in Michigan. I’m amazed at the stupidity of humans. That governor just wants to stoop the rise of cases. Cuomo did a great job in NY. He told the truth. He said he couldn’t police all of NYC and it threw in into the hands of the New Yorkers and they listened. My daughter lives there. Hoping everyone complies. She said lots do not where the mask in her area. She just thinks they’re really selfish and stupid.
