2edgyI went back and read your comments and I see that they are Oriental shorthair's. Simply stunning & elegant! I have several because I rescued for a while, such as black cats, Torti's, just "cats" but they are all special in their own way! but I also have a Persian, Maine~Coon, A ragdoll, a ragdoll/Siamese mix, my bucket list kitty, a Bengal! Then a 22-year-old African gray parrot, and the love of my life, 2 1/2 year-old 5 lb. Yorkie 🐾❤️😱

They’re so unique looking 😍 I have 3 kitties myself a little 5 lb calico that is the tiniest adult cat I’ve ever seen lol a grey and white medium hair, and we don’t even know how to describe our last one her tail is like a raccoon tail same colors and fluff and the whole top half is a mix of browns with an all white belly lol they’re so entertaining together! I’m sure yours are too haha

I’ve wondered the same thing, she doesn’t have the marking on her forehead that most Maine Coons have but I definitely think she could be partially one because of her tail. I don’t right now, I’ve been meaning to add some so I will tag you once I do :) my sister is on here though and has an adorable picture of her calico and her rag doll. They’re such opposites in looks and personality it’s really funny. Her account is @saphira15 if you want to see them :)

We have the orientals and a few rescues and they all get along, but the orientals always sleep/play together. They’re a very active breed and need another to keep up

They are very schedule oriented and the breeder told me that they are manipulative (no more canned food at 5 because they were waking me up on my days off!) Lol. They are extremely smart! They play fetch and I kept accusing my husband of leaving cabinet doors open, then one day we caught Kalia standing on her hind legs and walking backwards to open the doors!

mrs_calijewels@twiggyglam they are a very social breed and don’t do well as an only pet. The breeder recommends having two cats. I was only going to get Kalia, and we fell in love with Gizmo and went back a month later to get him. They sleep under the covers and we have to keep the heater up otherwise they keep us up all night because they’re cold. Lol

I was previously in a very abusive relationship and never thought I would find someone/want to be with anyone after that. But good ones are out there... my husband he waited 4 yrs for me to say yes to marry him and my ring had been at the jewelers in their safe for 3.5 years! And you’ll probably meet him when you least expect it. :)

msmillicentOh my gosh... had to comment about your cats. So very precious. My son and family just got the same breed. The first one they got died of a tumor. It was gotten from a sphinx rescue center at age of 7. This one is 9 months old and the joy of the family. Lots of work though. I absolutely love cats...

msmillicentI think sphinx, totally hairless but Chester looks more wrinkly than your kitty. My daughter in law has to bathe him everyday. She also brushes his teeth.

mrs_calijewels@msmillicent mine are Oriental Shorthair Cats. They have hair. Wow, I didn't realize they had to be bathed so often. I think sphynx cats are so cool! I would love to get a Peterbald, which is essentially a hairless oriental.

msmillicentNever heard of a Peterbald.. Will check it out Chester is more high maintenance than their first kitty. He has a lot of wrinkles and has be kept clean to prevent infections. He also gets oily because of not having any hair at all.. even being indoor he gets dirty..

mrs_calijewels@msmillicent They do look a lot a like, except that the Peterbalds are long and lanky wth big ears and almond shaped eyes. The sphynx has a shorter body, a potbelly, and lemon shaped eyes. Both breeds are beautiful, I think.
