I have a good friend who lived in NY and was involved with animal cat rescue,, she has since retired from NYC Transit and moved to Maine. That is amazing you got to go. My oldest son went to medical school in Beer Sheba through Columbia University's International Program. he always wanted to do International medicine. He graduated in 2006, but I got to go visit during that time and after his Residency in Colorado he took a job in Jordan so I have been on the other side, but really miss Israel.

I wanted to visit more of the Middle East while I was there but didn't have the time. I definitely want to go back and visit Tel Aviv, The Dead Sea, Masada; all of it really. The food, sites, people; it was such an amazing eye-opening experience. What a History!

Matana' s necklace I purchased reflects the rich golds and delicate blues I see from the photos I took of the view on top of Masada. I rode the tram up, but my husband and three of my children hiked the steep trail to the top. My oldest daughter kept me company. I hiked down and it was the hardest hike for me at the time. It brings to mind many memories and stories.
