I make the beaded jewelry for sale in my closet and I only use high quality gemstone beads and accessories like sterling silver and 14k gold filled beads. loridgiam@ohusoneedthis oh Julie I’m so sorry, wow do I know what you’re talking about. I lost my dad in 2006 and my mom in 2014, I have 2 siblings and we did take turns with her care. After she passed, I then became her sister’s (my aunt) care giver for 5 years and then I finally told my sister she needed to take over, I was exhausted.

I will pray the Lord fills you with a supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. Try meditating on Psalm 147:3, Psalm 27:1 and Philippians 4:19

ohusoneedthisPrayer that I am able to grieve this in a positive way. I’m seeing a faith-based grief therapist. I know there is no right or wrong way to grieve and no set timetable. But, I’m kinda still numb about the whole thing. I’ve only cried twice. My therapist believes I’m still experiencing caregiver stress and for me I still feel like it’s kind of a vacation.

He’s our counselor, he’s our helper. I’m not saying you shouldn’t seek your own faith based counseling, I’m just saying - talk to Holy Spirit like you’re talking to me. And please stop beating yourself up, it takes a lot out of a person to be a full time care giver and we’re human and we get tired.

We were all so extremely exhausted as she had been hospitalized 25 times before she passed so we were always at the hospital and then when she would come home, we’d have to food shop, pharmacy run, bills, etc.. you know what I’m talking about because you lived it.

My friends at church who were very dedicated to staying in contact with my mom! I’m very close to these women still! They have warmed up to me about the loss! You mentioned that my communication with our Lord really needs to be very close right now.

ohusoneedthisSorry, Lori!!!! Initially, I felt very close in my relationship with the Lord. But, now getting back on Poshmark I have gradually cut down on my Bible study time. Both in reading the word and my prayer life. Just began noticing sev days ago—I don’t feel right! This evening I’ve gotta put down the Poshmark and pick that Bible back up and study and pray! That will make me FEEL better. There’s been a little distance I have felt develop and I don’t like the way it feels!

Please pray that I get my feelings of closeness back and that I’m able to grieve/celebrate my mom’s b-day tomorrow with good memories!

ohusoneedthisLori, I can tell you are so strong! I appreciate all of your feedback! I’m basically worn out! My mom was a paraplegic from the age of 14-a birth defect. She had me c-section! But no more children so from a very early age I learned all about the hospitals! Starting about 7 yrs ago, mom was in and out and out so much! She would go in rt. before Thanksgiving and wouldn’t make it back out of ortho rehab and everything until the next calendar yr.

I’ve watched the first season... of course Hollywood wouldn’t produce this so they decided to do something different and just ask for a small donation to help fund a second season. My dog, Tag, I love him so much but it’s so hard watching him grow old, he’s 13, his hind legs give out but he presses on. He’s been by my side for 13 years, everywhere I go, he goes.. lol my husband feels a little left out but it’s all good.

I have a special needs Aunt, the doctors said she wouldn’t make it past 20-25 years old, we just celebrated her 80th bday, she’s amazing. I know it’s not easy taking care of a special needs child but I can only imagine how much you love her and she loves you!! crafteelinda490Lori, thank you for sharing about your Aunt. I am77 and also have another daughter (56) who is also special needs. When Dawn was born her disease was little known. At 4 months old and still in the hospital the drs. told me to take her home to die. It was a horrible time. After they found out what she had, at 1 year old, she weighed 5 lbs. The dr. told us she would be dead before the age of 5.

crafteelinda490She is severely retarded and can no longer walk. She can’t talk, dress herself. Completely dependent on others. I had her until abut 5 years ago when the dr. told me that I could no longer care for her because of my health. I bought her a small 2 b/r house a few blocks away with 24 hour care. One reason I’m trying to sell on Posh. She is doing fine. Loves everyone and everyone loves her. She is a mess. Please keep us in your prayers. They work.

sussronLori I'm devastated tonight. Usps damaged the carton and the box of the collectible Barbie. Now there's a PM claim in but now it's a $250+ collectible that can never be sold as NIB ever again. I'm broken hearted wondering if I have the stomach for PM. USPS just ruined everything. I've had a bad day anyway but this just pushed me over the edge. loridgiam@viko1029 Yes PTLL it’s a shame you’re not closer to Tampa, even though I’m in NJ, my church is The River Church, I’ve been watching Pastor Rodney now for over a year, he’s the Pastor who got arrested when he refused to close his church, my church at the time decided to close for a while and ride out COVID, I lost all respect for my Pastor, I love him but I couldn’t go there any longer and to this day, they are still wearing masks and socially distancing - nah not for me!
