@tommatomah my first house was in Alice St Newtown in Early 80s the moved to the blue mountains in 87 and never returned to Sydney .. you in the Gold Coast very different lifestyle .. we have a beach side apartment that we escape to occasionally .. at Newcastle Beach

You wouldn’t recognise Newtown now, though at least there are still the wonderful restaurants on King St.
My old friends still live in the surrounding suburbs. Yes, never thought I’d end up here. I so miss the oldness of Sydney, it was just too busy and expensive to live there in the end..

Thanks for caring and sharing :-) I'm just warming up. I have many beautiful things to list. Things come ad go but beauty endures. What is is that makes Vintage and Antiques so beautiful? Before it becomes vintage it has to be "Retro" ... things that bring a sense of nostalgia to a generation. The nostalgia cycle used to be 20-30 years but change happens sooner today. Very few are getting it that items made only 5 years ago have entered the nostalgic cycle already; gone and never to reappear.

@styleside yes the time and effort taken to make and carve or paint or design some of my treasures but people don’t take the time or effort to really look at them .. I’m buying lots of jewellery at the moment that really contain hidden beauty they are all tangled broken or dirty but I give them a new life.. my husband helps me in his workshop and we are upcycling repurposing and making discarded items have a new beginning so much joy in that,

include a books category for both childrens & home section
-include unisex
-delete unused acc after 6m
-Posh level 2 ambitions are crazy!! Too hard to sell 50 items in 3m
- please offer the option to use Australia Post!!! Sendle are terrible and destroying the whole posh experience
-make funds available as soon as sale goes through same as other sites. Unfair to wait until buyer gets parcel then 3-5 d
-the fees are way way to high!!

@kristy_lane it’s been a challenge to take the USA culture and sales techniques into Australia … also we have less people so less ability to get sales the sharing of postings I find is over the top but it’s the way to create and build community … POSHMARK should adapt to each countries culture and spelling hehe I asked Paula if we can have a feedback session on zoom but she indicated they can’t at the moment .. maybe I could organise one

If a few of us level 2 people can suggest a few things they might listen. Can’t be too hard to make some of these changes. Esp the Sendle one categories and omg the fees!

I checked the label on the top you purchased before I sent it and I said it was size 18 however it's a 16 I'm sure it will still fit .Omg I thought it was a 18 before I had my eyes fixed now they are fixed its a 16 please just let me know how you go with it.
