I'm a coffee addict who is always in the middle of a book. I wake up incredibly early. I write a blog you may have heard of ... theGrayAsparagus.com (just kidding- you have never heard of it). I am a shy and very private person but will tell you anything you want to know. I recently picked up the hobby of running. I love clothing but have no clue how to put an outfit together. I love organization but am a disorganized disaster.

kellen_clark@grayasparagus Hi Elle, love your bio...sounds like me too. I haven't been getting much traction from the share games, so I'm seeking out PFFs who have a lot of followers like I do. I have you on my list of Poshers with the most followers. I'll be popping in to share your top 10 everyday. Please return shares & let's see if we can get more sales rolling. 😊👍

runwayposhHi Elle!! Just wanna say thank u for your wonderful blog!! I got freaked out that PM didn't allow me to unfollow ppl any more. Similar to you I tried to unfollow anyone who either didn't share, his account was closed or did not have listing (consequences of blind following😜). I went over limit I guess? So is my unfollowing is going to be disable for only 12 hours? Thx again! Aga

triciatx@grayasparagus Hi Elle, I just discovered your blog when I was searching Google. I was looking for confirmation whether back to back shares will no longer be recognized. I left a comment on your blog to follow up there. I went into a lot more detail. Like you, I am always on the hunt to find out what and why things are happening. I look forward to chatting with you more. I myself am a social introvert. Best_

lynemmaYou are my favorite new closet crush! I am an analytical person who loves to track data. In Feb, for a birthday present to myself, I started a FB group that was all about analytics as a Posh seller. Your SU blog post was shared to the group and I fell head over heels with your smarty pants attitude. I hope you can join us there soon! Together as a community, we test theories to see if certain things trigger/work/assist different results in the app. Fun times. Thanks for the blog.

relove7It should be called the PoshBible I read everything on your blog before I started, I was clearing out my career clothes because I ended my working career, I love your blog, now I have almost listed the things from my closet, I have some ideas for some upcycling, but I feel I am going to be needing inventory at some point, I know there are people who go thru donation sites for their inventory, I went to the few places where I live, Yah I won't be doing that!!! 💚 tips for me my mentor?

cwood008I came across your blog and I’m in love! Thank you for all your tips and tricks! I joined in July and have been praying to become a party host! How did you become one so fast?

Oct 25Reply

indigotradeHi Gray- I love the crisp cleanness of your pix. It’s easy on the eye! As a newb reseller recently, When I see a closet that impresses, I’ll check out their intro. Girrrl, I’m totally there with you about coffee!😁But a disorganized mess- Ha! Wanted to encourage you that you’re probably your own worst critic. You’ve got 1800’ish items (can’t remember, haven’t had coffee yet- OY! 🤣) for sale online. You’re doin alright! Cheers to you & coffee & always improving ourselves... 😊👋🏻

Oct 25Reply

grayasparagus@indigotrade Thank you so much! So kind of you to take time to spread positivity!!

Oct 25Reply

grayasparagus@cwood008 Thank you!!!! I hosted my first party in 2014... there were a lot fewer users and the process was much different! Now you have to request to host (there used to be 1 daily hosted party- now there are 3 or so!) and you will be added to the waiting list. I'm not sure how long the wait is since the site is so much larger now. But make sure to request!!! Hope that helps!

Oct 25Reply

Nov 13Reply

grayasparagus@jacaranda1831 thank you so much ❤️

Nov 13Reply

jacaranda1831Thanks for mega shares. How do you keep everything straight? Often see poshers sending out wrong merchandise... I have enough trouble with the few i have from getting lost.

Nov 14Reply

jbarr913@grayasparagus - I found your closet through your blog. Thank you for such a helpful and informative blog. You rock!

Nov 14Reply

grayasparagus@jbarr913 Thank you for taking the time to stop by and comment! That means a lot to me :)

Nov 14Reply

grayasparagus@jacaranda1831 Do you mean shipping the wrong items or not being able to find them once they sell?

Nov 14Reply

jbarr913@grayasparagus - you taking the time to help other Poshers means a lot to me. Have a great day!

Nov 14Reply

jacaranda1831@grayasparagus Ty for asking. 3 cases, 2 not me. 1. Seller could not find listed item sold. 2. Seller sent wrong item to buyer. 3. My case, item not delivered. USPS post pkg del at 2pm, home whole time, saw shipping notice at 2:48pm. No pkg. Contact Posh. Said to check neighbors, did that, plus ck both streets adjacent. Went to USPS 3 days, different supervisor each day. Said delivered. Posh settled and closed case. Week later, pkg at my door.

Nov 14Reply

jacaranda1831@grayasparagus Cont. Pkg with a bundle of priority boxes ordered from USPS. Contacted Posh to say it finally arrived. No answer. Guess case closed is case closed.

Nov 14Reply

grayasparagus@jacaranda1831 those kind of sound like one offs. I have had packages not deliverable and sent back and I have had where the buyer claimed they didn't receive. I don't sweat the outcome because this is what "Posh protect" is all about! While is disappointing to not receive something you were looking forward to- I have never had an instance where either party wasn't reimbursed.

Nov 14Reply

grayasparagus@jacaranda1831 sometimes the wrong items get sent (and sometimes misplaced) but you can only control what you do as a seller. It's important to stay organized so you so not disappoint your customers. I have received the wrong items before and received someone else's order and I just try to be understanding because I know it's easy to make a stake. Also, in both cases, Poshmark sorted it out for everyone. Hope that helps!

Nov 14Reply

jacaranda1831@grayasparagus Yes, Posh has been and is great !!!

Nov 14Reply

marissaabigail_Hi Elle! I recently came across your blog and just read or skimmed all of your Posh posts. I learned so much but still feel like I'm behind you in a way. I know it's not a competition but we started our closets at roughly the same time and I definitely have not had the same results as you. If you ever find yourself bored and want to chat, just let me know! I would love to see what we can learn from each other. -Marissa ❤

granadinaI follow your blog and you seem to be one of the first to talk about new features when they come out. I’ve been getting a lot of private discount offers for items that I liked but never put in a bundle. I didn’t think that could be done. Is this a new feature and if so, do you know how to do that?

Feb 17Reply

grayasparagus@granadina hi! Thanks for reading the blog! Yes, it's a new feature... it's not rolled out to everyone yet- but it's a private offer w/shipping discount that is sent only to likers.

Feb 17Reply

granadina@grayasparagus thank you! I thought you might know 🙂 Hopefully it gets rolled out to everyone soon.

Jun 09Reply

mkhayes7@grayasparagus I just had a lowballer get me all worked up. Offered me $3 on a $14 item. This was from someone who also sells, so they know good and well, that it would mean a 5 cent profit for me. Anyway, I went back and re-read your blog about treating these situations like a store owner. Handled it like a champ. Just wanted to say thank you for your words of wisdom, my friend!! 😊❤️

beaches611Hi Elle! I was looking for your blog yesterday, but did not see the full PM info you normally have. Did you discontinue it or maybe I didn’t look in the right spot? Your blog is my go to for a pick me up/reference. I love it! 🦋

Sep 04Reply

grayasparagus@beaches611 hey! Thank you so much! I actually am no longer blogging. I may or may not start back up but probably not... ❤️

Sep 04Reply

beaches611@grayasparagus Oh, Ok. I'm disappointed, but you have to do what makes you feel good. 🌼

Sep 04Reply

melbs17I love (loved?) your blog! It helped me out sooo much since starting PM. You have a great mind and sense of humor about it all😉. Thanks for the shares today💖!

Sep 12Reply

grayasparagus@melbs17 Thank you so much! That made my morning :) Yeah, poshmark has been changing so rapidly lately that I can't keep up and everything is outdated so fast so I just took a step back... You have a great closet btw!

Sep 12Reply

melbs17@grayasparagus Thank you! Yep, I hear you. It's rapidly become a buyer's market. But I hope you keep writing (just in life, not necessarily about PM😂)! Happy sales to ya!

Sep 12Reply

grayasparagus@melbs17 ❤️❤️❤️

Sep 12Reply

mitzpaws1Hi, I am curious about one of your tops and it's measurements. I would love to make an offer but have to be sure about if it will fit. Thank you! :)

Sep 25Reply

sirialexaI love your closet and blog! You’ve taught me so much about poshmark reselling, and the pieces in your closet are amazing. Happy Friday and happy poshing!

grayasparagus@musemax aw thank you! I just don’t know... maybe? Poshmark has been changing so rapidly that I can’t/don’t have time to keep up with everything! Thank you for noticing my hiatus ❤️

Nov 14Reply

selfimpactHi, I am confused, I was the one make an offer of the white top few minutes ago and add another top afterwards.

Nov 21Reply

grayasparagus@selfimpact hi! Yes, you added the Pink Floyd top to a “bundle” and then I asked if you were interested in both tops so I sent an offer to you that included both. Did you want both or just one?

Nov 21Reply

selfimpactYes, I want both🤗

Nov 21Reply

grayasparagus@selfimpact thank you!

Nov 21Reply

selfimpactI thought you meant only the Pink Floyd top that why I was confused. All is well now that there is two top🤗 thx

Nov 21Reply

braziljen05So THANKFUL for YOU! Thanks for always sharing! PFF! ❤️

Nov 24Reply

grayasparagus@braziljen05 same to you! Hope you are having a busy holiday season ❤️

Nov 24Reply

beaches611Hi! I have a question. The last few times I participated in the CCO, I clicked Price Drop, the calculator & sent to all likers. It appeared that if someone had purchased, I would have had to pay a portion of the shipping. I thought PM is supposed to pay $4.99 for shipping. I know of another Posher that has the same dilemma. Have you come across this? Thanks! 🦋

Dec 07Reply

grayasparagus@beaches611 no I have never heard this🧐

Dec 07Reply

beaches611@grayasparagus I understand now (another Posher explained) why I’m not seeing PM pay the shipping. If it’s an item that I’ve already dropped the price on, I’m not dropping it far enough for the shipping discount to kick in. Thank you for getting back to me. Have a great weekend! 🌼💕

Dec 07Reply

grayasparagus@beaches611 oh great! Glad you got it figured out! ❤️

Dec 07Reply

bahhhgainhuntaI just saw the order the order was canceled because of damage. Was there more damage than you had listed?

Jul 26Reply

theresa_seberI am trying to reduce my inventory and I had an inventory reduction sale and did jeans 5 for 30.00 and made 24.00 profit but had to pay 8.00 extra in shipping. Thoughts on how to help with this? Should I do 4 for 30.00 instead? T

Aug 20Reply

grayasparagus@theresaseber hey there! That’s the tough thing about that type of sale 😬 jeans are so heavy... I would weigh groups and see how many will stay under 5 lbs and see what you can do.

Aug 20Reply

theresa_seber@grayasparagus yeah. That is what I will do. Thank girl
