@missmalia31 Really?? My husband did not care for Charlotte 😂 but that's where i'm from, so i'm biased, it's home! He's from west coast too, San Diego. What part of west coast are you from? And i'm born and raised in the Carolinas, so when he moved here after getting out, he fell in love with Charleston too & we decided we wanted to end up here somehow! Lol. Is your husband here too?

@palmettoshop that’s nuts! Haha it’s literally a small pocket of the west coast. Charlotte has Cheesecake Factory, Jamba Juice, and some of of my favorite department stores from back home. I LOVE San Diego😍 but I am from an hour north of Seattle, WA. :)

I met my husband right after he got out, but what i do know is how he freaks a little every time they call, so i can imagine 🙇♀️😂 at least the end is in sight for him now! Lol! Do you thrift a lot? My extended family's always been thrifty so i don't think i had a chance to not be, i'm just glad my hobby can make a little money too or i'd be in serious trouble 🤣

@palmettoshop that’s actually kind of a good thing you met him post-Marines haha having to deal with all the time apart for training, deployments, long work hours, etc.... really stinks and yes it’s good the end is in sight!😂 actually no haha this is kind of a hobby I came into on my own. My mom hates having to sit and look through clothes (something I could do all day) so she would freak out if she ever thrifted haha

I did a long distance relationship in the past which was so hard, and i know that was just a small taste of what y'all go through! And thats hilarious! That's exactly my sister, she HATES thrifting and refuses to go 🤣 But my mom was my thrift buddy in Charlotte, we'd spend all day! My husband can't handle it either lol 🙄

Except I have to pace myself with the crime shows (and documentaries) because my husband is convinced at this point I'm going to murder him in his sleep one day hahaha. But yes I so agree, just tough to keep it growing consistently while working full time too. But hopefully, one day!! I got about 1 month when we first moved here before I started my job to do it every day and I swear I was in heaven haha.

@palmettoshop you have the perfect schedule while mine is all over the place haha I have days off throughout the week and I am normally off by 2 or so. The only other place I’ve really found is this place called uptown cheapskate. It’s almost like a “high end” thrift store. You pay a little more for things but if you find they have something listed really low that does well on Posh you can make a nice flip. 🙂
