Hi, I’m Beth. I’m new to Poshmark. Back in the day I sold on eBay. I’m not out to make a million bucks but repurpose mainly my own closet. I love to shop and it’s quite possible I wear things once or twice and I do buy quality pieces. I love jeans and currently have 39 pairs hanging in my closet, so I resell a lot of denim. I see the same jeans I’m selling for lots more in others closets. This is a hobby for me. I take pride in what I sell I just need some customers…I ship same or next day!!! My husband and I make T shirts on the side so I know how important it is to send, quality, laundered items that come from a smoke free, home. mattnbeth7 @mimi2azzygirl thank you. Haven’t sold anything for two weeks. My prices are so low especially on jeans so I don’t know if it’s society right now or what? Haven’t sold in $5 shows or anything🤷‍♀️

mimi2azzygirl @mattnbeth7 No, it's not you. I have listings that are 2/$5 and haven't sold for a year. Don't get discouraged. Some things are more desirable at the time. Make sure your photos are in good lighting and no busy background. Use an app to remove the background if needed. It makes a huge difference!

mattnbeth7 @mimi2azzygirl I had another question for you? I was searching the all “Fate” branding clothing closet because I have a Fate shirt in my closet and mine was not in there. I even put in my profile address and it said nothing found? There was the exact same shirt as mine in the hundreds of listings but even when I was specific to what my listing says it wasn’t there. The listing starts with Fate oatmeal hoodie I don’t know why it wouldn’t be listed for people looking for Fate items…

mimi2azzygirl @mattnbeth7 Was this a party? When you search for a specific item, make sure to filter to the size, price, category then sort to relevance. See if that helps find it faster.

mattnbeth7 @mimi2azzygirl no it wasn’t a party it was a thing in the feed that said all Fate items. So clicked and every item was from Fate. Actually the first item shown was exactly my my same item, down to size and all. So I kept searching till the end to see if mine was there and it wasn’t. It’s been my assumption that when you list something by brand name PM puts it into that brands “store” if you will…All different sellers were in it. They have them for almost every brand.

mimi2azzygirl @mattnbeth7 Actually I just read this in the Poshmark insider. It's something new they're doing and you have to share your item to that feed and it has to be the exact description of that days item. I've never done it yet. I will check out your closet and try and find some items in the brands listed under a search where you can type in the name brand.

mimi2azzygirl @mattnbeth7 Ok I clicked on search, typed in FATE hoodie, filtered to women/tops/sweaters/hoodie, size small, and price between $26-27 and yours was the 1st one shown.
