@gaxmibson Hi, there! I saw you liked a listing from a seller with the seller’s ID “DKAYLAAXX” who sells APPLE products, AirPods & Airpods Pro in particular. She might also be following you.FYI: This seller is a SCAMMER and not trust worthy. He/She has scammed many Poshers and never sent the items.She will ask for you to pay outside Poshmark, then block your email and phone number afterwards such that you cannot contact her anymore. He / She is a CRIMINAL.🙏🏻🌸

Anytime you see a seller providing a phone number/email address or, if they ask you for yours,anytime a seller asks to be paid OUTSIDE of Poshmark,they are SCAMMERS.Many Poshers here have unfortunately been scammed.Kindly&please share this also with your followers, REPORT& BLOCK these scammers,for your protection.Please reach out w/ any other questions you might have.There are MANY scam accounts w/ different names on Posh!Have a lovely day!🙏🏻🌸

@gaxmibson To attend your question, even without the aspect of being scammed, I do no recommend purchasing electronics on Poshmark, PARTICULARLY Apple products! That is due to the high percentage of scammers on here unfortunately. Most definitely, NEVER engage in a payment transaction outside of Poshmark!

@gaxmibson That said, people get scammed even with transactions for products purchased ON Poshmark, particularly ELECTRONICS due to the some clauses as part of the terms and agreement pertaining electronics. If you purchase here, most do get refunded. However, the agony to fight and the waiting time for your case to be resolved is not worth the hassle, in my humble opinion. Designer goods / bags and electronics, Apple products in particular, I recommend Ebay.

@gaxmibson In the case of Apple products, please be advised that NONE of the honest sellers, not scammers, to the best of my knowledge, sell “brand new and factory sealed” Apple products. Used ones sure. However, who is to say that the item is in the condition you believe it is, not a replica or, fully functioning? My point is: With respect to Apple products, I recommend saving up to purchase from Apple directly OR, from an authorised retailer like Best Buy.

@gaxmibson I advise against Amazon due to the high percentage of counterfeit sellers. Else, you can enjoy the coverage on eBay that will protect you. I hope the aforementioned attends your questions and aids you. All my best to you! I have been buying and selling here for years and shopping is really fun here! However, not for electronics and designer goods. This is my humble opinion, all risks assessed.

@gaxmibson Last, but not least, Mercariiiiii app is a breeding ground for scammers. I would refrain from purchasing electronics and designer goods there. Else, Posh is a fine venue for all else. Ebay I trust with electronics a bit more, depending upon the seller and, because they offer full refund coverage!

@gaxmibson Never ever pay anybody via Apple Pay, Zelleeeee or the Cash $ app! Also, never pay via “family and friends” on Paypaaaal. Most importantly, always stay on the respective shopping app pertaining electronics in particular. I hope the above helps. 🙏🏻

@gaxmibson 1)contact your bank to dispute this transaction AFTER it posts to your bank account, not while it is pending. You can however notify your bank immediately about the fact that you were scammed for “product not received” , to provide a proactive and preemptive alert. Then, call back your bank once the debit amount posts to your bank account for the final dispute implementation.

@gaxmibson The bank might ask you what the delivery time of this item is to your home, to wait that week and then, to file a dispute. The latter waiting period would also apply if you opened a case for “item not received” with Poshmark to ensure you definitely did not receive the item you had paid for.
