bossierbearkat @mydooneycloset most are, but Charlie was sort of a rescue. He is very afraid of almost everyone, evev after 4 years. I just keep loving him and my little Shi tzu who is going blind, but is sweet as can be. Charlie really loves her very much. They are my constant companions, and I wouldn't have it otherwise. I am sorry about your little fur baby. Cavalier King Charles are beautiful, but they are high maintenance, believe me.

bossierbearkat @lrs495 it is prettier than the picture; I haven’t decided if I will wear it or use it as part of my dragonfly decor in my bathroom. I have gone dragonfly crazy and peacock crazy as well. That’s not good when at 72, you are trying to downsize, but a pretty little dragonfly can’t take up much room.

3birdstogether @bossierbearkat My Lilly is 12, she has the mitral valve and Syringomyelia that unfortunately most of them get but you would never know it, especially when there is food around! She still has a lot of energy but prefers to cuddle🐾💕Enjoy all your pups, have a wonderful day! 😊

bossierbearkat @3birdstogether I don’t know about those things, but I will start reading up on it. My Babygirl is going blind, but she knows her way around our house and yard most of the time. Charlie spent his first year in a puppy mill cage with little yo no human contact. My Bonny Prince Charlie is the love of my life. He is still scared of most folks after 6 years with me.

3birdstogether @bossierbearkat Breaks my heart to think of how one could ever do such a cruel thing to defenseless animals. How wonderful that Charlie has you! We got Lilly from a breeder who lives a few towns away and has 7 cavs. She is wonderful, her pups are her world. She kept 2 of Lilly’s sisters and they still play together. Please research both the mitral valve disease and the Syringomyelia ( a serious neurological disorder that is very prevalent in the breed. )Best of luck to you and your babies! 💕🐾

3birdstogether @bossierbearkat The first visible symptoms of Syringomyelia are constant scratching around the ears and random yelping . Lilly was diagnosed at 5 and has been on medication since and it has helped her tremendously. Just a thing to watch out for. 😊🐾

A cancer research institute, say that the dog’s brain and nose work together to be “one of the most sophisticated odor detection devices on the planet.” Scientists are developing electronic “noses” to detect explosives, contraband, and disease, including cancer. What do you think? Did the dog’s sense of smell evolve? Or was it designed?
