I used to be 245 and now I'm down to 141 so needless to say have things for Poshmark LOL as I strolled through your closet I couldn't help but share along the way you've done such a nice job with your staging and versatility. 2posh2furious Also please tell me about your weight loss success story? For a lot of reasons (primarily injuries and meds), my closet is filled with clothes that I’ll probably never be able to fit into again. Selling them on Posh has actually made things less painful! I recently gained more weight and I’m looking for all of the inspiration I can find to keep working through the pain to try and get back to a happier weight. And of course, thanks for the closet shares! 🤗

rachaelbagel @hanakimi Oh hey there! I’m just now realizing how many comments here I’ve missed! Thank you so much for the kind words - and I totally understand where you’re coming from. I’m down more than half my total body weight (from 340+ to current 165) and I am the FIRST person to understand weight struggles and the whole back-and-forth and the crazy good or bad role that clothes can play in the pursuit of a healthy body and body image.

rachaelbagel @hanakimi Truth be told I always tell everyone the same thing, that there’s no “battle” and no win or loss, it’s a journey without an end and there’s no reaching a healthy weight until you realize that. I was all over the place with trial and error as I lost weight - fasts, eating disorders, exercise addiction, irresponsible drugs, self-hatred, and so much more - but nothing has been more humbling than how even though I look “normal” in a mirror I still struggle with half of those things

rachaelbagel @hanakimi It’s a lifelong thing, but the best thing you can do is embrace that. That’s how it worked out for me, anyway! I no longer freak out about a few pounds up and down, and that’s progress to me. The rest is still exactly as hard as it ever was (and also worthwhile). I've been quite ill the last 4 years so I have to admit I didn't have a lot to do with it LOL but feeling a little better now and back to the real world. Really do enjoy Poshmark.
