kk711 Rae, thanks so much for continuing sharing, you won’t believe what happened this afternoon.. I broke my kneecap in half in a freak accident. Prob will be back home Saturday and then meet with surgeon as soon as I can. Guess I will have lots of time to Posh since I will be immobile for quite a while. I am dizzy from pain meds. Yikes, what a way to end a vacay!😳Kathryn

Propped up in bed w/ huge bag of ice... did manage to get an appointment on Monday morning with Dr who works out of hospital right behind my house at home!! Pain is bad as you can imagine, my knee is 3 Times it’s usual size. I’m terrified of my crutches, I’m afraid of falling. Thanks for thinking of me! Your dog is adorable! Partial to Sheraton, Georgian, Asian and French styles but also have Danish Modern. My clothing tastes are also across the board but I am constrained by size and age! kk711 @luvcoco888 you are so sweet to ask. I had my (supposedly out-patient) surgery on Thursday late afternoon. Turned out waaay more complicated than originally thought and I just got home this afternoon. I am in a full, heavy leg cast from right below my hip to right before where my toes start 😳😣. Needless to say, not easy to get around!

kk711 @luvcoco888 I think I will still do sharing with small amount of people I keep in contact with ( yup, you!!) but no sense opening my closet because I cannot ship. Am feeling better each day tho. 🙋🏻Kathryn. Ps huge cast comes off in 2 weeks along with stitches out. Hopefully a smaller cast for 4 additional weeks, then physical therapy. Yikes!

luvcoco888 @kk711 That was supposed to be out-patient surgery? Ugh! I am glad they let you stay longer as it sounded like you needed to. The full leg cast sounds like a real bear. My friend's leg was shattered at the knee last year when a 70 lb dog went barreling into her. She was very vigilant about doing her therapy and was able to get back on the tennis court way sooner than I would have thought. I hope your recovery goes smoothly and you are back on your feet (without a cast) before long.

kk711 @luvcoco888 thanks for your well wishes, moving along in cast world, I now have crutches, wheelchair, and.... a handicapped sticker for whomever is nice enough to drive me around. Pain virtually gone ( amazingly) so I am only on regular ibuprofen!! 10 days and counting for cast removal, stitches out and recasted ( hopefully smaller) Kathryn

kk711 @luvcoco888 Hi Rae! Yes, Last Thursday I had hospital cast removed, staples out (ouch) and another cast ( SADLY ANOTHER FULL LEG CAST!) on. I chose purple and at least it is slightly fun to dress to a purple cast. 3 weeks more and then I go to a movable cast and start P Therapy. Sadly I cannot stand or get around long enough to post new items. Thanks so much for sharing my items. Boy you sure do have some great new stuff! Kathryn

I believe it was designed to spread things out to allow parents and kids to have time to adjust, rather than experience an abrupt separation He seems really happy - school officially starts on Wednesday. A new chapter for us. Very bittersweet!
