leschen @concept I used to work in Concord and commuted from SF..., man, it was no fun! I got headache whenever the bart went down to the water :/ I'm glad I don't have to commute for that long distance anymore! Hopefully your commute turns out better than mine! leschen @lileean haha yes I live in SF 😉 EDC and other festivals are really pricy, if you are interested, I would suggest you go to smaller ones locally! It's cheaper plus you don't need to travel too far! And it's nice to see you here again 😊

lileean @leschen I go to AAU ☺️ majoring in fashion styling. But of course like any other school there are pros and cons haha. Everybody says these art schools aren't worth it but again like any other school you just have to take advantage of opportunities around you 😉

leschen @lileean fashion styling sounds really fun! I have a friend works at Fossil as visual merchandiser and he flies to Fossil HQ (in Texas) a lot for the next season's display & styling. What do you learn at school? I'm thinking of taking a few classes in AAU since I work in downtown :) I also have a few friends went to AAU but they were majored in Graphic Design or Industrial Design

lileean @leschen That sounds really fun! I'm actually not sure of what kind of job Id be going for after, haha. AAU goes by semesters and time passes really fast. Most of the classes have you do a lot of projects and not as much lecturing. This is my first semester as a fashion styling student and I only have one class that is actually part of my major. It's really fun! I'm doing a product photo shoot for the midterm and it's so exciting. Very professional and for the final we'll be doing an actual photo shoot with models. So it's very hands on experience learning, I think. It helps You build up your portfolio. With the major related classes at least. :D
