Hi! I'm Jill. I’m a speech pathologist and self taught home designer who also loves clothes but let’s face it, I have WAY TOO MANY! linda1949cm Hi Jill You seem to be sharing ok which is a good thing. Have you been offered yet to be a posh ambassador? When that is offered to you take it. You will get so much activity with new poshers welcoming them and some are buyers. Look in my closet and you will see a share sign (20) shares. Make one up for your closet and then put it in the feed often daily.

linda1949cm Also when we put anything in the feed only once it goes to the bottom of the list so we want to keep it going so others can see it. When a party comes along reserve your spot. Share your items pertaining to the party. When you share to a party it only records one time. If you share more than once to a party it will automatically go to the feed as a share.

linda1949cm That is why it is so important to share other poshers closets. Other poshers who share your item will go to the party again.The more different poshers the more entry’s you get.

poplargirl690 @della991 I always try to share if I see someone has shared mine or I just go to the feed and share items at random that come up on the feed. I’ve followed along with several peoples little games to get more followers. Thought it could help as the more followers the more things that will get seen. Not sure if that is true??

linda1949cm Those Sharing groups can be OK if they remain kind of small like 30 closet you have to share but sometimes when you think it’s 30 it could be 50 or 75 or 100 after everyone signs up. Then you have 10 hours to share usually 10 or 20 items per closet. It can be time consuming if you have to work and sometimes stressful.

linda1949cm @jillmmccune we share one time to a party so if it’s a Jewelry party you would want to share each piece one time. If we go back and try to share all pieces a second time it will go to the feed. BUT if some one else decides to share our jewelry it will go to the party for us. So if we have 20 friends (poshers) who share our jewelry they all can put a entry in for us individually.

And I just went to to a social media site and used their filters to make a sign. Edited it and posted it. Thank you for offering to let me use yours😊 I appreciate it!

And thank you so much for the compliments on my closet. I am very particular about my clothing and take extra care when I pack and ship. Even though we're all here to do the same thing, make extra money, we also are a very tight knit community that support each other in any way we're able. I had a wonderful mentor that noticed I hadn't had a sale yet so she bought a couple items. That's community! Of course I spent the money on beautiful earrings she had I wanted! 😁 We're a Posher family! 😀🥰

Nothing against you but, I despised my speech therapist during my inpatient stay. 😉 I knew that it was a fork & spoon, but all I could say, was I used them to eat with. I was SO frustrated with myself! I spent 26yrs as a cardiac cath/EP lab tech. So not being able to speak was a struggle for me, to say the least! Again, thank you for all you do! For the patient, families & loved ones Thank you so much!🌹

poplargirl690 @workingout5 Hi there and sure I can try! I’m pretty new to posh myself but here are a few things that helped me. Take beautiful photos from all angles including close up of fabric. Include measurements for length, etc. Add detailed comments. If any blemishes/flaws include that in photos and description.

poplargirl690 @workingout5 Try to follow posh ambassadors and share their things. Most will follow and share back. Follow your own followers and others followers to build your numbers. The more followers the more people who see your items. You can create signs for your closet ie: “you share mine, I’l l share yours” type thing. I do mine on snap chat and then just save the images to my photo library to post on posh.

poplargirl690 Another thing you can do is join share groups. These groups pick 3 closets per day to share 10 items from each day then eventually you will be chosen as a featured closet and others will share your closet items. This will also help you get more exposure and some new posh friends. I typically share my own closet items at least once a day. It’s important to still share your own even if you do the groups. Also share closets of new poshers. This will help you gain ambassador status also.

poplargirl690 @workingout5 click on “feed” bottom left of home page then at the top right there is a little icon that looks like a person with a plus sign. Click on this and halfway down the page you will see ambassadors listed that you can follow. You’ll also see new to posh people you can also follow.

poplargirl690 @workingout5 be careful and never engage with anyone through email or off site if asked. It could get you kicked off Poshmark. You can block people if you feel threatened. I’ve had some very strange and some inappropriate comments from men. Ugh! I just ignore and then block. Not looking for a man, I have a husband lol
