2crazycats @msstinks I caught on right away. My father in law, who isn't with us anymore, had MS as well. His passing was very sudden and traumatic. I know your everyday struggle. angiehayes2004 Sending prayers for you, my sister has MS and it is quite the challenge! Have you tried any essential oils? I use the for many things and they really help. Not a cure but possibly could help with symptoms. Chiropractor and acupuncture are good also, I had fibromyalgia, couldn’t work for awhile and doctors gave me no hope. All good now, working hard and leading a normal life again. Stay strong and positive! God Bless you and keep you! 🙏🙏🙏🤗🤗🤗. Happy Poshing😊

elles2belles @msstinks technically they tried to dx me in 02. But I wouldn’t have any of it. Lol. I wouldn’t listen. Said I was fine. Went in to have 10 normal yrs almost to the day. Then bam! Hit me like a ton of bricks! dx Oct ‘12. I still didn’t want to accept it but I had drop leg, double vision, vertigo, neuropathy, spasms... all at once soo.. I couldn’t exactly have much of a defense! Plus they found all those happy little spots on my brain, blah blah...lol.

vickimark I agree that MS stinks, as I sit here next to my wife, monitoring the feeding tube in her belly pumping her liquid food directly into her stomach, her suprapubic catheter draining her urine to fill the bag attached to her hospital-style bed, grinding her pills and mixing in her liquid meds to add to the water I will put down her feeding tube four times a day. She can no longer move her arms or legs or bowels. Her eyes are now pointed in different directions.

vickimark She lost her ability to speak 13 months ago, during one of her seizures, seizures that only stop with IV meds administered in her 20-some ER visits and 2 hospitalizations in the last 3 years. Most days she sleeps 23.5 hours. We roll her on her side several times per day to, along withe her special air mattress, keep her bedsores to a minimum. Good days she might be awake and smiling for 3 or 4 hours.

She was working on her pilot's license when she was diagnosed with MS. She raced Jeeps, mushed huskies, had her own motorcycle and rode it to work sometimes. MS has taken all this from her.

vickimark Her neurologist says my wife is one of the toughest cases of MS she has. I hope you never experience this. Keep fighting MS no matter what it takes. Praise the Lord for every good minute you have in your life. Tell your family you love them while you can. We will keep you in our prayers.
