I’m extremely happy with this bag. I ordered this preowned Louis Vuitton Brown Monogram Canvas Tote for $450, and when it arrived, it was exactly as described and actually looked even better in person than I expected. Because I was buying a preowned designer bag, authenticity was obviously one of my biggest concerns. I ran the bag through an authentication program and also went over it very carefully, looking at the date code, stitching, canvas, leather, hardware, zipper, interior stamp, construction, and the natural aging of the vachetta. The date code, AR0959, is consistent with a Louis Vuitton bag made in France in May 1999. Based on everything I checked, I’m about 90–95% confident this is an authentic Louis Vuitton. The canvas is still in really nice condition for its age, and I actually like the character that the naturally aged leather gives it. The stitching, hardware, and overall construction all look consistent with the quality I would expect from Louis Vuitton. Nothing about the bag has given me a reason to question the seller’s description. For a vintage Louis Vuitton at this price, I feel like I got a very good value for the money. I’m very pleased with the condition, appearance, and quality of the bag, and I would feel comfortable ordering from this seller again.
