Prada Vintage 2009 Black Leather Whipstich High Heel Platform Sandals Sz 39.5/ 9

These sandals were part of the Prada 2009 "Fashion Gone Wild" spring campaign. See second photo of a very similar sandal in a light brown, taken from the 2009 Prada campaign photos here: https://www.fashiongonerogue.com/prada-springsummer-2009-complete/ The brown sandals are higher; the black sandals were made slightly lower in the heel than the ones pictured in the original campaign after a model took a disastrous fall on the Spring runway, and newspapers complained that Prada sandals were too high to be wearable! Beautiful sandals - made in Italy of butter-soft black leather, contrasting beautifully with the whipstiched blown leather platforms. Very light wear - owned by a woman who bought a lot of expensive shoes and only wore them each once or twice. I am helping her sell off her collection (unfortunately, I wear a 10!).
