Vintage circa 1950s Shafford teapot made in Japan ebony black red bowed precious momma cat with green eyes & her salt & pepper ebony black green-eyed red bowed cats set that stand beside her. This would be called brown ware. It's a precious set. This teapot has a removable cat lid. The cats look perfect, but one salt shaker has a scar of a hairline crack that creates no problem in it. Its just special to know that these little things still exist and can fill a sweet place on a little kitchen table, nook and the teapot is not quite a cup of fluid but some people never drink but a half a cup of tea so that it is always hot! A set that has been loved and enjoyed. Note: To see the scar of a almost indistinguishable hair line crack on one cat salt shaker, look at second from last. It has been renovated back to original.
