Vintage Royal Copley green ceramic dog mailbox planter. Love dogs? This is a darling vintage Royal Copley dog china planter (made by Spaulding China Co. of Sebring, Ohio (from 1939 to 1960) with lime green mail fox and loving pet who was to meet the mailman to retrieve the mail for you back to the house. A loving animal who has your good at heart, and you can see it in the eyes. How many of us have wonderful memories of past devoted pets and present. This is a vintage piece made in the time periods above. It is a sturdy piece that stands 8 inches high, 8 inches long. 6 inches wide at the widest part. It would hold a nice plant of your favourite kind. This planter is in perfect shape, but if you look closely this is a very slight bit of crazing that is difficult to see. Outside this piece is very smooth high glaze gloss sweet beautiful vintage piece. Planter is on the heavy side, so won't top over.
