GEMSTONE: Garnet, 6mm round genuine. APPROXIMATE STONE CARAT SIZE: 1 carat. STONE SETTING: Tension set (no prongs). Upper & lower silver arms are solidly joined by the gold rod. TRANSPARENT OR SOLID STONE?: Transparent. FACETED STONE OR NOT?: Faceted. SIZABLE IF NECESSARY: A jeweler should be able to size this. If the ring is a bit big, you can buy a ring guard (or a ring decreaser), which easily fits on the ring band.
