10 balls of Katia "Velvet Fine" chenille yarn in colour Teal

Gorgeous, smooshy, plump and silky chenille yarn from Katia. This is the more sophisticated and higher-quality version of Bernat Velvet. Still polyester, still machine washable, still chenille. But this is easier to work with, smoother, less tangly, and just a superior product overall. Price reflects that. Each ball is 50g and 159 meters, for a total of 1590 meters (1740 yards) and 500 grams. This will knit to about 17 - 20 stitches to 4 inches/10cm, depending on your needle size and preferred tension. There is enough here for a moderately-sized adult sweater, or many smaller items. Ravelry doesn't list this yarn as discontinued, but I couldn't find any buying sources for it, either online or in stores. I paid $14 per ball, several years ago.
