10th Anniversary 1997 Holiday Barbie w/Green Eye 1st Edition

Brand new 10th Anniversary Holiday Barbie 1997. The story on this doll is Mattel meant to release the Brunette with Blue eyes. The art work on the box shows the blue eyes but the doll was produced with green eyes. Apparently Mattel realized the mix up and so the next batch had the proper eyes. So this release is "considered" rare and a variant or factory flaw. If you Google this doll the prices are astronomical. No clue who is coming up with those numbers. This specific doll though is extremly clean and has her original plastic surround sleeve that came with a little collectors brought still tucked into the back from the Barbie Collector Club back then. Its never been touched. So shes as complete as they come. Smoke free home. Please see my other dolls for sale.
