14 kt Gold Plated Chain Necklace

This is a beautiful vintage 14 kt Gold Plated necklace chain. 8 mm width 16 inches length great condition, with a few signs of wear: outside edge shows signs of tarnishing. a few links of the chain are missing near the clasp on one side (please see photos). Could very well have been made this way, I just don't know. Doesn't make a difference to the sturdiness or wear at all.
