14K Yellow Gold White Opal Studs - Pierced Earrings, Stamped 14K, Signed

Vintage Teardrop-Shaped 14K Solid Yellow Gold Opal Stud Earrings, with two, genuine, oval, 6mm x 4mm (0.28CTW), cabochon, white opals. The opals have an excellent play-of-colour, with flashes of pink, green, blue and yellow. They are prong set in gold frames that bear the makers's mark. The butterfly backs are stamped 14K. They measure 11mm x 8mm, and weigh 0.43g. Would act as a nice accent to more prominent pieces, or as a simple coordinate to companion colours. Very versatile, simple, and elegant! Opal is said to have physical, mental and emotional healing properties, and is widely viewed within cultures as a symbol of hope, purity and truth. Opal is the birthstone for October, and the gemstone for the 14th wedding anniversary. In great vintage condition. Display box not included. Will arrive carefully packaged and gift-ready.
