mermadam Good morning! I need an experts advice. I have a bag to ship out today but it does not fit in a priority mail large box. Can I use my own box and put the USPS priority label on it? It is under 5 lbs. thanks for your help!

bau_babygirl @mermadam yes ma’am if it doesn’t fit in a priority mail box you can mail it in your own box however it must be a plain unmarked box or you must cover any writing etc that’s on the box. For example if your reusing an Amazon box you’ll need to flip it inside out so it’s plain or cover all the Amazon logos and info.

bau_babygirl @mermadam Also, ask your post office to put priority tape/priority stickers on your box as well since it’s plain to make sure it’s easily identifiable as priority rate ☺️ you can use your same Poshmark label. You only have to upgrade the label if shipping weight goes over 5 pounds. If you have any other questions just let me know. Hope this helps!

bau_babygirl @mermadam Absolutely! Any time you have questions I’m happily to help. You can also go to the USPS site to get the priority boxes for free and they’ll ship them directly to you. They also have the priority stickers there as well but you’ll only need to use those if your using a plain box to ship in. You can get free priority tape too but they don’t have it online, you have to call to get it.
