I purchased this ring in 1987, at the very beginning of my love affair with Victorian jewelry. The eyes are genuine diamonds and it is marked 18k. During the Victorian era, Prince Albert Would shower Queen Victoria in gorgeous serpent jewelry, as the serpent was a symbol of everlasting love. Beautiful index finger piece! Sizes 11-1/2 but because of width, fits more like a 10.

pvogen Check out the markings under the head. This looks like a Cartier pattern. If it is stamped Cartier, it is worth about 3x more than you have priced! Good Luck!

I love your closet. I love to look at us older ladies stuff because they mean something and usually have a story behind it. My husband has rods and screws in his neck so he goes to bed at 7, so it’s kind of a hobby at night. Take care💕

But I’m still selling some pieces that I had or still acquire because I can’t give it up completely. I specialized in vintage and estate jewelry, But I also sold everything a lady used or wore, including hats gloves clothing vanities accessories etc. etc. etc. Thanks for checking out my closet!
