1916 Universal Thermos hot water travel bottle with cups in leather travel

...sleeve, Antique Landers Frary & Clarke USA made glass lined flask An antique Edwardian travel or riding flask, the outside in a silver toned metal, the inner lining is glass. It comes with 3 cups and the lid serves as the 4th cup. The whole thing fits nicely in the saddle leather tube sleeve, which doubles as a carrier. The lid can be simply pushed upwards for access, or the leather strap can double as a hinge. A wonderful piece of US made history, beautiful and functional. Condition: The original wooden stopper is gone and I´ve replaced it with a cork stopper. It is not a perfect fit however, and the flask will leak when held sideways (and it won´t hold the heat all that well), but it´ll help against splashing when you are travelling. There is some rattling coming from the wall between the glass inner and metal outer body ( I checked and there is a rusted steel "holder" between the glass inner and the metal outer wall). The glass liner is in great shape without cracks or chips. The leather sleeve with wear but overall decent and functional, the leather strap with the end bit broken off, but also still functional. The cups and flask with signs of wear and age. Size: The leather sleeve measures ca 14 1/4 inches tall x 4 3/4" diameter (36 cm tall x 12 cm diameter) The flask holds ca 4 cups / 32 oz of liquid
