1917 Half Crown brooch, sterling silver

This British 1917 coin has a C-clasp (non safety pin). It is a World War I era souvenir or lucky token. The silver content of a British half-crown minted before 1920 was made of sterling silver (92.5% silver). The coin has a beautiful patina, but if prefered could easily be polished. In excellent condition for its age.
