1920s Tattered Quilt‎

This gal is a barn find quality, but is ideal for the maker. The backing is soft like silk. Some of the suns are still intact but you can tell this has been loved to death. Originally from Quebec. Beautifully hand stitched. This makes Absoutely stunning farmhouse decor as is, or make clothing. I have a jacket made of similar material that’s shredded like this and I can’t go anywhere without someone stopping me to admire. Generally adorable little old ladies and quilters that admire workmen-ship that is no longer. Sold as is.
