1930’s Al Capone retro: tailored silver & gold pin striped black velvet jacket

Simon Chang (Canadian designer) is recognized 4 quality couture & excellent workmanship. True black and has a velvet feel & fully lined. The color of the stripes is alternating between silver and gold metallic thread: on the pictures they are all silver, could not catch the gold, sorry. Vintage from the late 1980's. You will have a lot of compliments wearing this jacket day or night. The velvety fabric is a slightly textured except for bands alongside of the metallic stripes. The buttons are gold and are striking against the black fabric.(3 big at front, 4 smaller at the ends of sleeves). The four diagonal pockets at the front are true pockets so you can put a nice addition (a cigar for Halloween and the rest of the year a small scarf or piece of jewelry, for example) Condition. EUC & Vintage. No defaults. Labeled as size 8 but made big so I did wear up to size 12. Was stored away fr/ light & dust.
