...Tuxedo Dress Shirt White Cotton long sleeve shirt
An amazing collarless formal tuxedo bib shirt by Arrow, made in Canada. Kirk looks to be the style name of the shirt. Dates ca 1930s. The front bib starched and with a simple thin standing edge to attach any style collar to, the back is almost fully open and closes at the neck and a single button halfway. A popular style in the US where the back would be covered by a waist jacket. The buttonholes in the front could be used for decorative buttons or studs. The fabric is fairly thin in a light pinstripe white on white, it feels like cotton.
Condition: in the original cardboard box (dented, torn and tatty), and the shirt with yellowing and staining. There is one larger darker stain to the front (pictured) and discoloration to the sleeves where it was folded and laying against the cardboard. The fabric looks whole without tears or holes.
