...blue A pair of 1939 knitwear socks from the 1939 New York World´s Fair. (not marked, they feel like cotton). In orange and blue, with the little logo on the ankle. Without toe or heel placement, and a draw string in the ankle to keep them up. Amazing for display or to add to a world´s fair collection. Or why not use them for a period-correct re-enactment costume or set dressing for TV or a movie? Condition: they look clean and unused, but there is a hole in the front of one of the socks. It looks like a cutting mark, so someone must have had a slip with a knife or scissors. Size: unmarked. because there is no heel placement would fit a large variety of sizes. They stretch quite wide.
