...vintage small poster, pre-WWII cinema promo An original vintage 1939 Lobby card for the movie "Wing of the Navy" Starring George Brent, Olivia de Havilland and John Payne. This is a US scene card used as a lobby card to promote the movie to cinema visitors. Condition: The paper with a ´linen´ surface pattern and slightly satin glossy. With some handling creasing to the paper, creasing to the corners and to the right hand edge, the bottom right corner is missing. There is a spot of damage right in the middle of the image, over the man´s cap. It looks like someone punched a hole to hang it. The coloration is clear and with a slightly muted overall look due to the colour of the backing paper. With a wonderfully classic airbrushed-type look. Country of origin: USA.
