A mixed English dishes set from the 1930 - 1940s by Grindley "Peach Petal" and "Almond Petal" and by Johnson Bros "Goldendawn" and "Rosedawn" Perfect for a breakfast or dinner table for 2, or a sweet set for a single aunt, teacher, or a student moving out on their own.
There are 2 dinner plates, a lunch plate and 2 cereal / soup bowls
Condition:
Pink dinner plate - Grindley "Peach Petal" regular marks of age and use, including utensil marks. No chips or breaks. Size ca 10" diameter
Mint green dinner plate - Grindley "Almond Petal" regular marks, plus crazing to the top and bottom surface glazing. No chips or breaks. Size ca 10" diameter
Yellow dinner plate - Johnson Bros "Goldendawn" regular marks of age and use, including utensil marks. No chips or breaks. Size almost 9" diameter
Larger pink bowl - Grindley "Peach Petal" regular marks of age and use, including utensil marks. No chips or breaks. Size ca 6 3/4" diameter
Smaller pink bowl - Johnson Bros "Rosedawn" regular marks of age and use, including utensil marks and several (4) chips to the underside of the rim - 2 of which are visible from the top. It does not appear to have any cracks. Size ca 6 1/4" diameter
