1940s Floral Tapestry Coverlet

This one is remarkable, the softness, the rich rich historic colours. The florals are just mind blowing. This is likely Italian but I can’t say for sure, it could be from Poland also. It’s 1940s or prewar, and it’s showing its age in the fringe as many of them do, but otherwise it was so well kept for so many years. It’s best for a throw over the couch, or end of any size bed. Or has it to fully cover a single. This would make an incredible kimono as a reworked piece. It’s likely cotton/silk/rayon. It’s in overall great shape, with some fringe missing, the price reflects this.
