1940's Set of 6 Mappin & Webb Sheffield signed Stainless Steel Knives

A vintage set of 6 Mappin and Webb M Trustworthy engraved Sheffield stainless steel knives with Cream Ivorine handles and signed blades. These wonderful knives are probably from the 1930's / 1940's era. Ivorine is a vintage material often used in the 1930's and 40's to make the cutlery handles. Ivorine was widely known as Celluloid and was given a number of trade names by those factories that produced it. Knives are 8" in lengthKnives are tarnished / scratches as shown in photographs, Ivorine handles are in good condition. Note: Please keep in mind that pre-owned and vintage items rarely appear new, signs of use are to be expected. I do my best to find every flaw and point it out as well as include it in photographs.
