1940's "Tourist Souvenir Skirt"

My Grandparents loved cruising the Mediterranean when my mother was young. This is possibly from Greece and is Handwoven and hand sewn, I believe it to be Mostly cotton fibers. There are darts at the waist. It has fantastic large front pockets with fringes. This would have been purchased by my Grandmother for my Mom when she was young.
