...soldier souvenir portrait drawing A 1940s framed pastel sketch of an RAF airman, the text looks to read "The Long Ba(...r?) St. Martin´s Lane London" The other side is hard to read but looks like Kane Lara(...?) 194(?) ....1940 / 1942 / 1945? The paper portrait with crumples and creases, the frame with wear, scratches and scuffs. The glass is good with minor wear. A fantastic addition to a WWII collection! Size: 18 3/4 x 12" (48 x 31 cm)
