1940s teal blue Floral Patterned Fabric

This is something you just don’t see often at all. This may have been a prewar blanket but I have sold dozens over the years and never seen this tight knit a pattern. So I really don’t think so, I think it’s true yardage. It’s beyond beautiful. The pics don’t do it justice. I have added an orange item to try and show the blue but the camera won’t behave. It’s gorgeous and silky and soft as it’s a cotton rayon blend. This was likely produced in Italy or France but it’s hard to know for sure. Could also be Polish. This would be amazing for pillows, accent pieces, runners, patch work clothing, blanket, or just for styling. This is so old that it’s best not to keep it in a sunny window, and if you’re going to store it, always store it in clear plastic and tied tight, in a dark place.
