1950s 1960s Black Hat with Velvet Bow and Netting

This sweet little midcentury hat is in need of a new home! It features a black velvet ribbon, decorative metal embellishment, and a delicate black netting. The original tag is mostly missing, but I would estimate this hat comes from some time during the 1950s or early 1960s. No elastic or strap, so you would either need to add one or use a hat pin for securing this chapeau to the head. Sizing: The hat is approximately 7" in diameter and 22" circumference, but as this hat perches mostly on top of the head, it could fit a slightly larger range of sizes. (It is photographed on a foam head measuring slightly less than 21") Condition: There are a few large breaks in the netting, and the edges of the velvet ribbon are very slightly frayed. Someone has tightened the inner hat band with a few visible stitches (this cannot be seen when worn and doesn't affect the quality of the hat). Other than those issues however, the hat is in good vintage condition.
