Vintage Casualcraft of New York corduroy car coat, circa late 1950s–mid-1960s. Made in the USA. Crafted in a plush wide-wale camel corduroy with a luxuriously soft faux-mouton lining and collar—warm, structured, and classically mid-century. The collar can be worn folded down or turned up for a dramatic shawl effect.
Features include:
• 3-button front closure
• Two large flap pockets
• Chain locker loop at neckline (a classic 1950s quality detail)
• “Professional Dry Clean Only” woven tag
• Size 38 Regular (fits modern men’s S/M or women’s M)
Color is a golden camel/tobacco tan that catches the light beautifully against the pile-fur interior. Excellent vintage craftsmanship and authentic Ivy-League/Americana style reminiscent of early McGregor or Campus outerwear.
Condition: great overall with gentle vintage wear and light surface patina consistent with age; clean lining and strong seams.
A timeless mid-century piece that feels at home from the garage to the jazz club. Perfect for fans of RRL, Beams+, Levi’s Vintage, and heritage workwear.
