Contrary to what many people believe, ESD (Enterprise Sales and Distributors) is not "Canadian Lefton". ESD was a company in Canada whose owner, Harry Pearl, traveled to Japan for buying trips with George Lefton. While in Japan, both men purchased a lot of the same items for their companies (and got a discount for puchasing such a large amount at one time); one exclusively in Canada and the other exclusively in the US. This is why both the Lefton and ESD labels are found on some identical pieces.
