1950's Glycerin of Thymol Pastilles

A BOOTS "Glycerin of Thymol Pastilles" Tin with a hinged lid. This tin is from the 1950s. It naturally shows signs of wear and use but overall it's condition is very good and there are no dents. This tin is from my Father In Law's collection. Boots is a British pharmacy chain which was founded in Nottingham, England in 1849 - the firm is still going strong ! The tin originally contained "Glycerin of Thymol Pastilles with AMC (?)" with directions for use - "An occasional Pastille should be dissolved in the mouth in cases of sore throat, tonsillitis and laryngitis until relief is obtained".
