1950's Vintage EdelKerr Grünstadt Heart and Flower Design Cake Plate | Germany

A beautiful vintage large ceramic cake plate and was manufactured in Germany in the 1950's with a magnificent decor fashioned in green and wine red. It has the look of a stylized German Bauer (farmer) peasant painting, but it is precisely this simplification that makes the design so charming.  No Chips, cracks and plate is in prestine condition for it's age and a beautiful show piece which can be featured on a 3 legged stand in a antique bakeware collector's show room or use for special occasions with cake. Made in Germany. Note: Please keep in mind that preowned and vintage items rarely appear new, signs of use are to be expected.
