1951 Het Grote Gebod Dutch WW2 Book Set Christian Resistance Netherlands

CONDITION: Both books show wear relative to age, second volume has damage/discoloration on cover as shown. Het Grote Gebod, roughly translated to The Great Commandment, details the wartime efforts of the Dutch Christian Resistance throughout Netherlands. The books act as a memorial of the resistance efforts undertaken by LO (Landelijke Organisatie voor Hulp aan Onderduikers or National Organization for Help to People in Hiding) and LKP (Landelijke Knokploegen or Rural Squads?). Published by the LO LKP Foundation in 1951, it gives an incredible view of what happened in the Netherlands during World War 2, and how regular people fought for their rights and their rights of others.
