1958 Metropolitan Seminars In Art, Portfolio 8 - Fresco by John Canaday. Bintage hardcover book with 12 loose prints suitable for framing. Printed in the U.S.A. Black and white photos throughout text. Includes, Review questions and Promotional pamphlet for the Subject of the next portfolio. Good previously owned condition.  Covers firmly bound but have some play. Pages may have slight yellowing due to age. Binding, spine and corners have signs of wear from use and display and are a bit faded due to age. 25 pages plus Notes on the Painters. Prints measure 9 3/8” X 12 3/8" and are in good condition.  Some have slight discolouration on edges.  Prints not affected.  One picture plate has some smudging on the back.    Prints included- The Sistine Chapel Ceiling - Michelangelo, Head of Adam from the Death of Adam, The resurrection - Piero della Francesca, The Tribute Money, Tax gatherer from the Tribute Money, Head of Saint John from the Tribute Money - Masaccio, Head of Madonna from the Lamentation over the body of Christ, Shepherds from Joachim's Dream - Giotto di Bondone, Woman Playing the Kithara - Unknown Painter, Heads of the Virgin and Child from the Virgin and Child Enthroned - Master of Pedret, Head from Loo Wall Painting - Unknown Painter, Sugar Cane, Head of the Girl from Sugar Cane - Diego Rivera.
