1960 Ken by Mattel, Patent Pending, with suit

This handsome blonde original Ken Doll comes in Good condition with signs of age and use. He is a first edition, patent pending (marked on the rear) 1960 Ken by Mattel doll. His suits are hand made (modeled here) as well as one made for Ken by Mattel (shown in first photo multi-pic). He comes with his original dress shoes as well as Mattel swim trunks and cork sandals. Trunks can carefully be worn but it’s not recommended that he wear the sandals; one strap has become brittle from age and on one side has broken away from the cork sole. Despite his appearance and the scuffs on his flocked blonde hair he is very collectable. The price has been evaluated as appropriate, and that was before the authentic Ken suit and the swim set! I am open to fair offers and feel free to ask any questions. No restoration work has been done on any of these items, they are as shown but have been loved and were played with by three generations and he’s still in great shape!
