1960s Barbie Doll Brunette Wig Midge HTF Vintage Mattel is over 60 years old, which makes her not only one of the Barbie makes in Mattel's early days of Barbie. Barbie dolls where well known in the 60s where the doll has painted on hair and a removable rooted wig; this wig is brunette. In 1964 the word "Patented" was added to the buttox of the Midge Barbie doll. This 1960s Barbie doll does have some wear (See photos). Her paint has worn off or faded on her face, painted hair, and fingernails (they should be painted red) (See photos). She has blue eyes that look off to the left, which was popular back then and she has closed lips that should be painted red as well. Her eyeshadow has lost color (See photos). She has some minor marks on her left arm and leg that can likely be removed with the right solution (See photos). This lovely lovable hard to find Barbie is a must have for Barbie collectors!

This is actually a Fashion Queen Barbie. From the early 1960s.

@holligolitely I researched her and she is a Bubble Cut according to my sources. You don't think she is?

@4u2wear2 She is a fashion Queen Barbie. The wig is the whole gimmick with her. A Bubblecut Barbie has a special hairstyle, called a Bubblecut. This is not a Bubblecut Barbie even though she has the same type of body and markings.

@holligolitely I appreciate your feedback. Although other sources says otherwise I will remove "Bubble Cut". 😊
